@user1306322: The proposal was made 6 months ago, when the "times" were not the same. I've put a huge amount of time, effort, and energy into it, so I'm not going to give up just because times are bad. Also, to answer the question more directly: it's a topic which gets dozens and dozens of questions per day, but on several different forums which are all not connected together. You would have to make a username and password on one forum to ask a question about A, then the next week you might

have to make a username and password for a different forum to ask B.

why is there need to move between them so often?

I'd argue that the "times" of slow development of the whole platform have been going on for about 5-6 years now, and now most recently in the last 9-12 months the management policy changed to favor profits over quality content dramatically. I don't mean just the last couple months, "times" have been not great for creating a new site for quite a while

There's forums for various sub-topics. If you want to ask about topic A you need to sign up and ask in one forum, if you want to ask about topic B you have to sign up for topic B. There's not one unified place (yet!).

@user1306322 I agree that fewer and fewer proposals are being launched. But in the last two years we had Operations Research, Quantum Computing, and a bunch of cryptocurrency sites.

I know about reddit where you can have one account and be able to post in all the sub-forums (subreddits) it has

I was interested in Wikipedia for a while. I used to contribute there actively and most of my contributions were to meta administration pages rather than main content articles. My interest in it waned, though.
