@user1306322 I dislike large monitors. I prefer a medium sized laptop screen, that I can easily see the whole thing at once. Large screens are just totally unappealing.

@user1306322 Along with Dan and JG's comments, you'd need a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 Turing GPU to get slow frame rates at 8K; you could end up with a bit more than 8K resolution at high frame rates for the money that card and an 8K monitor would cost. --- Also, notice there's two chairs and (at least) two computers, a single 8K monitor couldn't be enough. --- Arguably two 4K projectors and a few monitors would be a better setup, but it certainly wouldn't be cheaper. Large trackballs are great - to play Missile Command

...and even cast a 5th vote, and have it be reopened while deleted and it stays deleted but now open

affects the post state if its undeleted, I guess

@Mithical Yaakov says to ask a new question if any new bugs shake out after the 'Post Notices' update. Both deleted and open is an erroneous state, it's sort of the opposite of undeleted and closed (which is possible); apparently both are being allowed.

@Mithical That's one of those not-quite-bug not-quite-intentional changes that the team has decided to leave as is.

That said, it wasn't possible in 2011. My majority guess is that this behavior was introduced when close/reopen votes were refactored internally to be represented as flags rather than as votes, which happened around the same time the first post I linked was made.

(Another side effect of said refactoring was that users with <15 rep would be blocked from casting close votes on private beta sites, while they were previously able to; nothing was done about it for a number of years until I brought it up, at which point the privilege was simply upped to 15.)

Yet another change with the refactoring may have been that aged close/reopen votes now had a proper history record, which meant the team could implement a 2015 change to allow them to be recast. Prior close votes cannot be recast, even today.

There are obviously genetic differences here; people with different skin colors (inaccurate, but accurate enough) are proven to be susceptible to different degrees to various illnesses. Sometimes, black people are more vulnerable, sometimes "brown", sometimes white, and whatever other colors are there

But to very unscientifically ask the loaded question of how the macroscopic internal features differ, like they have differently shaped organs, it's obviously trying to get something it can quote out of context.

But these differences doesn't make any humans superior to others.
