The reputation requirement helps protect this question from spam and non-answer activity." This is accurate. We are trying to minimize the words here, not adding back ("association bonus doesn't count") which is something that most users will be confused by.

Doesn't it "override" the need in fewer words? Just the three "on this site" words are enough, no need to bring back the whole thing.

I was wondering how to get the Unsung Hero golden medal.
This answer says: "Only accepted answers that are at least ten days old are considered". However, [this random user](https://stackoverflow.com/users/9724750/neil) got this medal on Dec 9 without even having a single accepted answer on the preceding 10 days.
Do I misinterpret the criteria for this medal?

@HeyJude I'd wait 24 hours in case it's simply that the badge script hasn't run and granted you the badge (badges aren't granted immediately, but by a script that runs periodically). If you've waited 24 hours but you still haven't received it, post a question with a clear link to the badge criteria and explain how you believe you've met it, and also that you've waited 24 hours.
