That said, I finally got rid of my android app after it stopped sending notifications. It still "worked", but without notifications it's useless.

I'm not sure it's the same issue: first of all it's an IP ban for some reason (using the common key/simply browsing the site), and secondly I wouldn't use the same key as MetaSmoke

The autoflag log suggests the metasmoke troubles began on April 2, when Apple.SE got hit by pr0n videos in answers.
