thanks, i don't thing edits are going to help this. a programmer with experience in file management user interfaces will need to proclaim that every part of that is covered in a single thing , called a "file management user interface", or whatever. if i knew what that looked like in a database context, i'd be writing it! well, trying very very slowly.

The two are mutually exclusive, a question with a bounty can't be closed (which is why there's a 48-hour waiting period, to give adequate time for questions which can't be reasonably answered to be closed by the community).

if this is still about your SEDE question: I don't see any added value in having a roll-up feature-request if there is nothing new to add. Also worth noting that SEDE is open-source: no SE developer has spent time on it, except Nick when he needed to fix the login and the reCatcha. We don't need more FR's, we need users with free time on their hands to implement those frigging FR's, all of them.

@ocæon That said keep in mind that while it is true that feature requests are voted based on (dis)agreement, they are also curated similar to main site questions, and are expected to, among other things, only request one thing (just like how main site questions should only ask one question). In addition, downvotes, just like main sites, imply that the question isn't a great fit for the site.

In effect, your question effectively boils down to just asking "please implement these requests linked here", which is not good. Perhaps a better outcome would be to close your question as duplicates of all those questions.

I found none of the open SEDE FR's easy or trivial to implement. If they were I would have certainly give it shot. At this moment in time I think we're much more helped if the thing was ported to .Net Standard/Core 2.0 or higher first before we take on new features. But that needs to start with consent from SE, specially Nick and Tim as SEDE is also used internally, IIRC.

Those requests were some of many very conservative attempts from years gone by. All asking for even the most basic query tree. Taking a single consolidated approach saves all the repeated efforts of trying to address them separately. Note we can limit the scope to users' own query lists (not the site-wide query search) so as not to get bogged down in deeper network issues.
There is a small long standing bug by design relating to how query names are updated internally. While it became clear that renaming forked queries doesn't affect originals, the behaviour still …

oh and there's only five links to example posts in this draft too

i know i'm cracra, but other than trying to store the list of binned queries between sessions, isn't that all in one box of ui?

@AnneDaunted yes, that is a typo. Not sure if moderators can edit the privileges pages. I think only SE staff can. Better file a bug on MSE as those pages are shared between all sites IIRC.

And allow for 6 to 8 weeks to get those two letters in ;)

@rene Yes, only SE staff can. (Prior to 2013, before the help center, any Meta user with at least 2,000 rep could; you probably are already aware of privilege wikis from SEDE.)

Such changes would propagate to all sites that don't have site-specific overrides (i.e. they've never been edited by anyone else with 2,000 rep on that site).

I didn't like Joe Friend's plans for site redesigns one year ago, but I've come to appreciate his work, and I think his contributions have been overall positive.

I think I know why SE temporarily stopped designing sites: because the plan would result in the design team doing a lot of work for absolutely nothing.
