@JourneymanGeek Better link to their network accounts page, I think: stackexchange.com/users/15599951/… (unless the "nuke dem all" button is on each site profile?)
Interesting trivia: @rumtscho is chat user (here on MSE) since I was exactly 33 years old! :D

@ShadowWizard Congratulations on the largest crutch ever made. (Do you use this idiom?)

11:34 AM
@rumtscho not using it, now learning what "crutch" means.... let me see.... :)
hehe hope you mean the "a long stick with a crosspiece at the top, used as a support under the armpit by a lame person" meaning.... LOL
The other meaning is "another term for crotch (of the body or a garment)."..... :P
And yeah, I'm not native English speaker, lol
Anyway... sorry @rum, didn't get it. But thank for the congrats, whatever it was for! :D
welcoming @rum into the room ;)

And with three pings in mere seconds, they're gone again! :P

or maybe they just saw the menacing parrot

@Tinkeringbell nah, took me whole long minute or so... I'm slow.... :D

@ShadowWizard thank you!
To clear up the crutch confusion: it is a metaphor derived from the first meaning
when somebody makes a birthday congratulation a day or two late, the saying is "congratulations on a crutch" meaning "that congratulation is coming in so late, it is as if it was injured and had to limp on a crutch to reach you"

Rob

@rumtscho ohhhh lol!! Had no idea. :D

Congratulation on a snail mail, literally.

Not spam just.. bad

I have a question and I was too afraid to ask: I didn't see any 'unicorn' picture on april fool site. Was there any 'unicorn'?

not the ascci one like a real unicorn picture ? I saw a lot of people stating it was miss aligned by design and was too afraid that was an april foll ception

@xdtTransform It only showed up on a.) sufficiently wide screens and b.) I've heard adblockers might have blocked it.

@xdtTransform ^

At least I saw picture of it. I wish I had meet it in person.

1:17 PM
Best I can do... Short of a time machine

need a time machine to invent a time machine?

No . Unless you intend to go back in time and patent it first

Wasn't there a userscript made? Perhaps installing that and disabling adblock?

1:43 PM
@xdtTransform ask Jon Skeet, he was riding one in some previous year April Fools... ;)

AFAIR... if there are too many edits on a single post, a flag will be automatically raised?

@GetAnswerWizard Yep

Thenks!

2:32 PM
@Tinkeringbell even by same user?
Think only rollbacks would trigger a flag... no?

A: What causes a post to be auto-flagged for many edits more than once?

Grace NoteThe rules for the new flags are, in intention: Flags for multiple edits, be it by the original author or by multiple authors, should only happen once in the lifetime of the post. Flags for a post hitting a certain number of answers total should only happen once in the lifetime of the post. Flag...

rollbacks trigger a flag too
Though that's different from the edit flag.

Q: Come Celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary!

Juan MIt's hard to believe that 10 years have come and gone. This community has grown so much since then! We're now averaging 70+ questions per day with over 270k questions already amassed. @Feeds I saw %65 somewhere on SE (meant as percentage, not encoding). Not sure where it comes from, but I edited that one.

@xdtTransform Don't fear the Unicorn
Fear the Binicorn

@GetAnswerWizard The talk about "has grown so much" is divorced from reality.

Q: What are other "Home" areas this site can branch to?

DMooreI am really off and on posting questions or answers to the site. I might come on most days but when traversing through a page of electrical questions nothing really intrigues me to look or participate. The top two tags are Electrical 8510 and Wiring 3612. Those two tags plus # 4 Lighting 1705 ar...

@ShadowWizard thanks for replying to my comments, looks like i'm getting ahead of myself.. shall i remove the comments or are they useful clarifications for other users?

9:50 PM
@ShadowWizard in the case of meta.stackexchange.com/a/209535/505013 i had somehow completely missed the word "comment" throughout! but meta.stackexchange.com/a/77006/505013 i could add clarification to answer. i'm removing my comments on both now

@ocæon whatever you want. :)

oh actually that review one should just go, they cannot even be listed without the minimum 500 rep

You can see your own reviews in the history tab.

.. not seeing a history tab, and what would it contain without the ability to review?

10:11 PM
@ocæon it's per queue, e.g. stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits
It will contain things like edits you approved/rejected on your own posts, it can be done with 1 rep too

and i have accepted an edit

@ocæon sure, but you have "history" link there
Interesting, when logged out history page gives 404

yay! ok now i need to explain that to others in the answer

So need a sock to test it.

i .. will be that sock .. for you.

10:14 PM
I'm honored, but already have a good sock. ;)

Actually there is a change... they moved into their own drawer.... :D

awww, the cute little bundles! socks are so worth it

@ocæon oh, that's not my doing, no idea how to do it... my wife is folding the socks into those bundles. :D
I folded my socks myself during army, but that's about it. lol

10:31 PM

@ShadowWizard hold two socks flat between your hands cuffs up and together,, then place both thumbs into one cuff, finally push all eight fingers upward while spreading the cuff around your fingers.

@rene awesome! @ocæon asked for it. ;)

@ocæon okay, done that. How do I free myself now?

@ocæon wife tried to teach me many times. I suck badly in those things.... just can't get myself to do it properly. :/
Thanks for trying though! :D

@rene oh lol that's the sedb thingy for badges across all sites?

@ShadowWizard okay, cut finger off, now what?

Missed was the critical part about matching the two socks first. I have a lot of socks that look similar, with minor variances. Sometimes it comes down to matching wear patterns to avoid pairing a new one with old; because if they are both sufficiently worn and the pile of good ones is big enough, out they go.
