This is not even physically plausible, regardless of being a terrible idea. Phones don't use high enough voltage to deliver a shock, and there's no path for a current loop. Plus, the Mythbusters tested conductivity of pee streams, and the stream very quickly breaks up into drops separated by air gaps. Getting a laminar flow over any distance is very hard. Standing right next to an electric fence is one of the only ways you can get a shock. Even peeing on the third rail of an electric train track is unlikely, because it's that much lower down. — Peter Cordes 7 hours ago

I can agree with the "search on SO" thing (albeit it is fun when MS suggest you try and search on SO instead of searching their own documentation. They must know said documentation is lacking at best)

@ShadowWizard luck played an important role... started working on RentACoder, got a steady gig, worked 6 years there, started a blog about a technology I liked, people started contacting me to work with them... then I was hired by a company, got lots of mooola, the company bankrupted and I found myself applying for jobs. Nobody would make an offer after I applied to hundreds of places until Stack did :)

On a nice Sunday morning, some people go on a spree and vote to close all the [status-no-repro] posts..

and then some more people go on a spree and vote to reopen all posts which has a [status-*] tag.

some others go and edit old posts to make some changes.

few more go and fix broken images on forgotten posts

finally some people look at all this and silently ask themselves

"WAT IS HAPNING?"

the twitch launcher gives you a minecraft instance with a bundled version of java... if you want to update that version of java because a particular mod (immersive engineering) requires a newer version of java, you have to go into the settings of the instance twitch creates and modify it there. but... if the next time you want to play you launch it through the twitch launcher, those changes are lost.

There's a bunch of end-user Java programs that now need re-writes to conform to the new system... And anything abandoned is pretty much dead without a local Java install, but how long does it take 'til those are so full of security issues there's no point anymore?
