I am of the opinion that this is the case. Mobility does affect keeping track of things, and therefore could accidentally trigger a CAPTCHA, since I've seen that while posting content and being on the bus with a tethered connection.

@Werner - When on a shared network you are at the mercy of others on the same IP address. If they are a bunch of spammers you all will be IP banned, but you will regain access once you get a new network. There's an answer on Meta.

@ArtOfCode @Tinkeringbell juice is usually fine for even a couple weeks after the expiration date (not a constant rule though, and it depends on what type of juice (/food or drink in general)). The expiration dates aren't really expiration dates in most cases. If it's stored properly (/normal), it can last longer

It relates to a CAPTCHA trigger that (I think) stems from using the site in a mobile fashion.
That is, when I'm on the bus, tethered to my cellphone and posting content, I get the occasional CAPTCHA, and I'm wondering whether it is related to network connectivity.
If there was, for example, an unsuccessful saving of a time stamp when you started a post (not sure how that time stamp is created), and when you post it, the "less than 5 minute" condition is automatically triggered and the CAPTCHA is shown.
