@andmyself yes, why not? You get afterall reputation based badges as well ....

child meta no rep :(

@EKons it is not shown, still has rep: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/172242/…

ah, also a progress to duplex hammer from gold badger...

@rene depends on whether your queries work perfectly... ;)

Mine always do ...

Here's a meta-meta question: Is meta SE appropriate for questions about "on which site is question about X appropriate", or shall I ask on a meta of the site I suppose it might be related to?

ah, there's a tag for that, thanks

@Luke that tag has a pretty good wiki with advice what a decent site recommendation question should look like: meta.stackexchange.com/tags/site-recommendation/info. Make sure you verified your question fits that guidance before posting.

I've read it, actually looking through tours of a few more sites now, might find one that actually fits

Question! Does anyone know if an answer previously flagged VLQ and now flagged NAA will go through the LQP queue again?

I hope not...

because?

the community has agreed that the post isn't LQ

Rob
Makyen was saying new flags new queue - so first action should be best choice possible (which isn't always possible).

6:38 PM
Yeah... It's just that on IPS there's a huge overlap between VLQ and NAA. VLQ's are almost always NAA's, and NAA's are almost always VLQ's... :/
So I can't blame people for flagging as one or the other, especially on old posts.

Rob
True. It's the flagger's dilemma.

I feel like NAA has priority over VLQ, if applicable

I treat them as synonymous except VLQ is a touch safer

A: Can flags send a post into the Low Quality Posts review queue?

Shog9As of July 2013, Very Low Quality flags automatically add the flagged post to the Low Quality review queue. As of April 2014, Not An Answer flags do the same. Each review task requires a minimum number of "Looks OK" reviews (2 on SO, 1 everywhere else) to be dequeued; this number increases by on...

It seems not.

But he might have been talking about the same type of flag.

Rob
IF you could have barely got away with VTC (or NAA) on a VLQ you need to push your luck. Ideally it shouldn't go from VLQ to NAA since that means it got worse. It's slightly better for it to go from NAA to VLQ but if you could have used VTC or punch another NAA on a VLQ (and get away with it) then at least there's the consistency to hopefully get rid of it --- As neither VLQ nor NAA is likely to rise above a decent answer. BUT on IPS (and some other sites) there's some subjectivity.

um... how is VTC related here?

Rob
When it is.

VTC is never wrong :P

Rob
The general principle of grossly categorizing. Pull out the non-applicable parts and apply the remainder - much as if it's not the IPS site you remove those sentences from what I wrote.
We can check the Wheel of Blame if you need it.

6:51 PM
@rene btw with what userscript do you make the messages? because the SOCVR userscript definitely can't do that...

7:08 PM
Complete with a plastic bag, just for @EKons ...

lol did you really search for a plastic bag?

No.

ah, phew
plastic bags everywhere...

@EKons isn't it this one?

I got a bunch of shots that day. Which is good, since it's been pouring since then and now I'm below the rain :P

7:14 PM
@rene hm, looks like it, I just had an outdated version
and pretty sure I tried installing it with all the other userscripts but apparently I didn't :P

yeah, it is on a branch
I'm beta testing it, obviously ...

ah, so that's why I got the outdated version
also... isn't revisit and reflag kinda against SOCVR rules?

@EKons reflag is allowed when an NAA post gets edited by the OP
revisit is for those that want t cast del votes after a post is closed
SOCVR rules do allow that, given the post is eligible for delete when you post the delv-pls
Basically to prevent that the post first needs to be down voted before it can be deleted
Despite popular belief SOCVR is not a voting mob

not sure if it can actually be a mob if the votes are actually after thought

7:38 PM
@Derpy swag mail is in.
I'm pretty sure you got one too....

8:11 PM
Is there a specific reason this is lagging? I see some comments/answers/edits on MSO that didn't make it in that list.
Seems like an extreme caching case

@rene Perhaps it's only updated once every ... 28 minutes? :P

more like 6 to 8 hours ;)

Sounds good too. Who is creepy enough to want a smaller window for stalking people? :P

well... I was trying to figure out the pattern in the status-tagging / answering ... stalking is kind of mandatory to get that info without actually asking/bothering anyone (as it isn't that important)

you never know when SE will be converted to FE (Flower Exchange)...

Ah. You mean that uptick in activity Stijn mentioned?

@Tinkeringbell yeah. I guess they got the TFS thingy hooked up and started the triage on the bug backlog

Well, if that means they are going fast... don't disturb and let them go on as long as possible! :D

stalking isn't disturbing...
(well... it is, for the other meaning of "disturbing"... :P)

I'm pretty sure the more extreme forms are disturbing as well... A phone call?
Or 20? :P

8:27 PM
Please pick up your phone ...

I didn't drop it, why do I need to pick it up?

It is ... nvm ...

9:13 PM
We are all going to watch Nick running out of witty answers ...

9:47 PM
@rene I don't think @Tink knows old phones... :P
