@Fabby I submitted a proposed change (not enough rep to directly make edit).
@ShadowtheWelcomingWizard could we stop playing the blame game? Simply blaming others for our troubles is not constructive. Instead, let's discuss what happened and what we can do to solve it.
@RobertColumbia this is just for fun. Humor. I get it that you don't like fun but please, do not ruin it for all other people around. If you don't like the culture of this room then by all means, don't take part in it. Cheers.
It can't be a coincidence that the second user who posted the answer "happened to see the question" in 3 minutes and posted an innocent answer. It is 100% coordinated spam.
@Aibobot since you seem to be worried about weird ringtones... Know that sat nav voice bank exist for characters like Hatsune Miku or various MLP ponies
just think of it
"Po pi po turn left at the next crossroad"
^ just received this from a friend. VS developers news tab.
@Magisch finally, a technology that will make the old wish "Please [insert divinity here] give me the power to punch people in the face over the internet" possible
Which btw also made me realize another thing. It is really a pity the VR game Duck Season does not reference the level 100 bug from the original game it mocks.
@Bart considering the game should already have a "game crash" secret ending, it could have been a nice idea to add a reference to that.
Anyway, it is fun how about everyone that gets to play Duck Season gets one of the horror endings (as intended) first and probably will never realize without a guide that there is a way to have the game never turn into an horror in the first place.
tells a lot about the players.
That said, I must also add that anyone playing that game after playing Duck Hunt is bound to try that little action that triggers the nightmare as soon as getting in the game
I still have to see someone getting that ending as the first one.
The funny part? The devs actually included a clue to how to trigger the real game in the "never shoot the dog" ending, probably fearing someone would have problems finding out the trigger otherwise.
Yet, everyone gets the "horror" ending instead
Which basically means that 90% of the players of the game just shoot the dog "for no reason"
@Tinkeringbell to be fair, I never played the VR game first hand, just heard about it from friends and saw some videos. That said, as far as I know, the dog in the remake does nothing to annoy you.
it does NOT laugh like the original
the only "justification" would be that in contrast to everything else looking "realistic" the dog seems just a person in a dog costume (blame FNAF for the idea that animatronics sell games)
@Derpy let's just say we were surprised to see how easily players gave up on anything that wasn't glaringly obvious. Had to adjust quite a bit of content as a result.
Thats one part, but what if a user copy pastes part of a news article or copyrighted book? if I understand it right, the new law requires content hosting websites to effectively and completly prohibit any copyrighted content from being uploaded
I hope they have done a research, which probable gave a result "we have this feature since 6-8 years ago, but not many users used or even noticed it..." and thus, boom, always show inline "edit" for tags
If it was an issue of hiding the link until a hover event, at the least, the link would need to explicitly say what it edited, so I can't imagine it was on purpose.
so... it hides current tags and shows a progress bar (pull a little space), hides the progress bar after finish (pull a little more space again), then quickly shows the "edit tag" section (push a big space)... the elements below that all like jumping around :/
oooh... The headers can be clicked to focus its text box... (again, I dunno if it's new or not)
also, has this been reported? On "Ask Question" page, the text hint on Tags textbox is cut after the page finishes loading?
Hi partners, I'm a software developer from Brazil and I work with PHP and Java (Android) actually. I want to engage on game's development, and I'm curious about what i should learn to make a game like habbo hotel (MMO rpg and social game). Should I use Unity for that? Thank you =)
@Velasco Not really (I mentioned at a 1st glance, without glasses)
@Velasco Yes, he's great. I am following his philosophy over 30 years now.
Great guy with glasses in the right place :P
Regarding Shog9 here you go. There's no similarity at all, I just missed my glasses :D
@Shadow @Bart OK, I am an idiot, just missing to put on their glasses :P
When I met Chomsky 1st, it was about compiler construction and designing programming languages. But compared to their philosophical work, that's all minor.
I am not less an idiot than anyone else engaging in the SE networks :)
