By the way, one thing I used to do on my old MSE account to get attention for old, unnoticed bug reports and feature requests was to intentionally post a duplicate. Very effective then.

I did that to a bug on SE Android app, but it's not effective at all :)

Biostars SE 1.0 sites will be shut down eventually. Original date was slated for sometime in June or July 2010, but unofficial word suggests that this is variable as SEI works with the sites. It appears that the people who started it are working on a stackalike clone, and are planning on maint...

some have been assimilated (e.g. mathoverflow), some shut down, some switched to things like OSQA

I know that a lot of people held off on changing to Stack Exchange 2.0, because if they chose to migrate they would be placed into beta and could be shut down there
