Is there an antonym of "defend" that's less aggressive than "attack"?

user315433

Maybe "falsify"?

Oppose?
Disapprove? Protest?

Is there a way to use SE for authentication on my own site? Like if I wanted to make a web app but only make it available to SE users.
Oh I guess I could register it as an app and use the oauth stuff
Yeah duh

Didn't expect Drupal was that bad... or was it because of downvote from spam flags..

Drupal certainly leads in Community DVs relative to the size of the site.

@JasonC by default 15, except 8 on ja.SO

user202362
@JamesENL If it makes you feeling any better, I am currently in 'my life has no meaning' mode. Interestingly, I am also in a feisty mood. Maybe I should turn down my aggression a bit.

TIL ja.SO uses 万 (man, ten-thousand) separator, not "k" (thousand) for rep, and John Skeet's rep is almost 1m

I wonder if he hits 1m if that'll break anything

@Elephant 281 days ago his rep was twice as far from 1M as it is now (from the graph on the network profile). This puts the 1M mark at January 16, 2018.

Mumble.... Oddly , I have the feeling this boils down to the assumption that the less you talk about something, the fewer will notice it and the less drama (and work) it will cause. Considering that the whole notification system is built to make it more difficult to notice decreases in rep than it is to notice increases, it would seems that the interpretation is quite correct.

@Gerry ... first you go around and ban all the spammers and trolls and then you complain the sites get no traffic :P

9:49 AM
@Kylo you're assuming people would vote to "leave open". That is not the case in most careful reviews. You should demonstrate, with evidence, that the current system is hurting valid contributions. As long as you're not, repeating "this is why I hate SE" with a snarky attitude isn't going to help. — M.A.R. Jul 2 '16 at 15:57
Oh, old Kylo comment. O.O
@Oded, OK, if I could work that formula out do, do think I would be asking a question here? And calling out this site is worth a flag? So condoning this site is not being nice? What a narcissistic site. — KyloRen Oct 23 '16 at 13:04

Q: Editing without upping?

xavierm02Is there some way to edit an answer without pushing the question to the top of the list? My use case would be this answer that I just edited because the English was bad enough for two people to add comments about it. But an edit that minor shouldn't have pushed it to the top of the question list.

LOL -- I love that verbification
