meta to 1337 trolls are like meat to an apex predator

@AaronHall is he?

user202362
although, you have to be careful with meat in traps because you don't want to wound up like this:

user202362

That looks like its been tethered intentionally. Probably for falcontry

user202362
yeah, this is what happens when you have been captured as a bird of prey

@bart I know it is late but when you arrive (or wake-up right now) can you have a look at this meta about a Unity3D dispute?

I was wondering if reporting a post on Area 51 would break Smokey...

@zaq It does.... sometimes
Apparently not this time

The linked site proposal is by the same user, but I can't report that.... and in any case, by itself it's not spam.

I don't have high hopes for the future of Gas, Wood & Electric Fireplace Installation Stack Exchange site, though.

Nowadays I take extra to make sure that your 1337 tr011 is not going to fallen into a trap in any ways, coz around every piece of meat, there is potentially a cage waiting to box in the kitteh

>_>
fun fact. I post slightly trollish answers for the greater good to clueless kali users on SU using my alt account. I've never once been downvoted
These have at least once included the awesomeness that is the russian screw drive vehicle. What happens when the nights are cold, and the vodka plentiful...

Is stacksnippets.net also load-balanced between 2 or more servers?

2:25 PM
Is the Q/A shown as an example model at the tour page of a SE site fixed or random?

user315433
@qwer CS169 as mentioned in meta.stackexchange.com/q/229301

@Pandya it is fixed but now and then they update it to pick a more recent pair

Btw, I'm not specific for MSE, actually my concern is for hinduism.stackexchange.com/tour
@rene Do you mean automatically updated at some time period?

@Pandya no, hand picked by a human and then changed by an edit from an human moderator on the tour page.

@rene Can a site moderator change it? or it needs CM

2:35 PM
@Pandya some parts of the tour page are editable by a mod and I think the Q/A pair shown is part of that.

@rene ok. Thanks for your as usual and valuable help!

no problem

:)
@Moosebot Have you forgotten the presence of Shog here! :P

@Pandya yup, bots don't really survive here if they're just for fun

3:10 PM
@Oded could it be that a single webserver refuses to serve StackSnippets given this new report? I can't repro but others can obviously.

@rene that's what happened last time.

Welcome on your groundhog day ...

I posted a message to our SRE team. Hope the on-call will see and deal with it.

OK, thanks

3:30 PM
Should be fixed now, @rene

Great!

3:51 PM
How about increasing length (which is currently <=400 chars) for model Q/A for tour page? /cc @ShadowWizard

4:24 PM
Hey Oded, Rene

@Pandya the tour still needs to be consumable by new visitors under 2 minutes. Allowing for large chunk of texts is probably not going to help that goal. If more than 400 chars are needed, the text needs to be improved. That's my opinion.
@Magisch Hey !

4:44 PM
Wonders if @Magisch got scared by my ping ...

@rene never

good \o/

@Pandya what @rene said :)

the easy option?

@Pandya yeah, so far @Moosebot isn't used a lot, but when it will, pretty sure it will be kicked quickly :/
@rene always
