> I am currently facing a dilemma that has frustrated me and I am sure many of my fellow coders throughout America for our entire careers: editors that write the closing html tag for you.

> I restrict the location of "my fellow coders" to America, because we are, without question, the most indolent beings that have walked planet Earth. We attempt to hide this indolence with meaningless words, such as "efficiency" and "innovation", but the truth is indisputable. The fact that I am supporting a stereotype such as this one is further proof of Americans' insolence. http://stackoverflow.com/q/

user315433
Using both "indolence" and "insolence" this close to each other is confusing, but apparently intentional.

@rene Dunno. Peanuts are already kinda bitter. Roasting them adds some bitterness but you can offset it with sweetness and it seems to end up a bit peanuttier in the end.

Lots and lots of salt

2:02 AM
Speaking of which, great peanut butter success just now. More than success. This batch came out awesome.
Three cheers for crisco.

user202362
if you like salt, you should swim in the ocean more often

user202362
free salt ... and water

The trick was store bought roasted nuts. I made a batch with raw nuts that turned out well too. I don't know why, my roasted peanuts keep turning out dry and weird. The store bought ones still had all their oils.
Which, actually, is probably a good question for the cooking site.

I wish there had been MongoDB back in the day…
@JasonC I don't think there's a shortage of hilarity now.

Planes dropping out of the sky, spontaneous launches of nuclear weapons, escalators speeding out of control, bank accounts zeroed, it was total chaos.

Hilarity, of course, meaning threat of extinction of the human race.
heh.

In the Gregorian calendar, New Year's Eve (also known as Old Year's Day or Saint Sylvester's Day in many countries), the last day of the year, is on December 31 which is six days after Christmas. Samoa and parts of Kiribati are the first places to welcome the New Year while American Samoa and Baker Island in the United States, are among the last. == North America == === Canada === New Year traditions and celebrations in Canada vary regionally. New Year's Eve (also called New Year's Eve Day or Veille du Jour de l'An in French) is generally a social holiday. In many cities, such as Toront...
