@zaq I used to tap that sequence when I was like 4! I think I got up to around 7 layers deep (before getting bored of tapping a binary sequence). I still have it burned in my mind.

@rene I was almost going to be humble. But after reading that reddit co-founder got engaged today, I start to think otherwise. Steve Jobs died within 48 hours after my first ios app was released, there was a serious reshuffle at microsoft after my first windows phone app was published.

user202362
so if something serious happens to reddit co-founder within 48 hours after my first question was published on reddit, I am hardly surprised.

user202362
coincidences do happen, but it happens a lot more on some people than the others

user202362
also did I mentioned that the day I departed the last company before I started my own app biz, it's the same day as the earthquake that killed more than 15000 people?

I really wanted to downvote this for some reason, except no matter how much I stare at it I can't escape its absurd logic and pointedness. I can't find anything wrong with this, so... +1, I guess. — Jason C 21 mins ago
@JasonC saying how we all feel.

@zaq did you see this request? The OP pinged me and asked if those numbers can be done with SEDE, but I recall you also keep track of those A51 stats, didn't you?

user315433
No, I'm not scraping Area 51. I used to keep track of some review queues, but I stopped.

hmm... has Shog cast some anti freeze magic in this room? 15 days and no auto freeze.

@zaq Hmm, OK. I'll give SEDE something to do then.
@ShadowWizard maybe the temperature in that room is above the threshold

@JasonC failed to make breakfast? How can one do such a thing? ;)
@rene yeah, there was some heated discussion.... :D

user315433
5:39 PM
I sometimes fail to make breakfast so hard that it turns into lunch. Like today, for example.

@zaq bacon and eggs for lunch? That can work.

user315433
I hear bacon is offensive nowadays.

user315433
flags chat message as offensive

My breakfast consists of coffee, bread, and something on the bread, usually cheese. Not really possible to mess anything there. :D

user315433
They can be all dropped on the floor the wrong side down.

5:42 PM
@zaq that can happen with any food, not just breakfast. ;)

@zaq you have been on MSO ;)

@bacon isn't pingable here so he won't care
@Jin love bacon

former @bacon is now @qwer

> a'ight, I'm gonna stick a fork in thi... I mean, the discussion appears to have concluded and I'm gonna delete it to prevent further offense.

5:44 PM
huh! Never noticed...
@zaq what about soup, meatballs, etc? Was it you or @qwer?

user315433
Don't remember meatballs. I was soup and sandwich.

oh, lol
@zaq it was qwer
Could be funny if you were soup in the same time as he was meetballs...

5:59 PM
@ShadowWizard Burnt home fries. Dried out some expensive fresh sausage. My home made peanut butter came out like crap. Burnt my toast twice. Kept cracking shells into the eggs. Made orange juice then spilled the glass.
I ended up just eating some yogurt and spending a half hour washing dishes.

user315433
@ShadowWizard Probably was the case; Andrew's names correlated with mine for a while. (As are the current zaq and qwer).

user315433
But then I stopped changing names, and he got bored / busy elsewhere.

6:32 PM
@zaq right... Andrew... wonder if you'll change back to @NormalHuman will he change back to Andrew as well? :)
@JasonC oh my... guess it would be cheaper and cleaner to buy everything ready to eat/drink then e.g. fries you can just put in microwave... though not sure there are toasts ready to eat you can buy. :)
also... quora.com/… :P
@Jason maybe better have a coffee first, then prepare the rest? ;)

2 hours later…
8:08 PM
@ShadowWizard It's cheaper and cleaner to just stay in bed.
I am annoyed by this peanut butter though. I can't get it quite right. I want something thick and creamy like Jif, but it keeps coming out more like oily powder.
I kind of wonder if I'm roasting the nuts too long maybe I'm drying out all their natural oils?

@ProgramFOX You'd be proud of me. en.lichess.org/SgLXl3aY

@JasonC aren't they supposed to taste bitter when roasted too long?

For hats? For testing bots?
It was not me, I have no pending flags on Sandbox posts

user315433
Was reading that post, because I came across reason #8: can't pay for hosting more than a year in advance.

user315433
I.e., when using a domain registered through them, one is billed yearly and that's the only option. :(

user315433
I kind of wanted to make sure that the thing is around for the next ~20 years, maybe.

user315433
The part about not being able to use MathJax sucks too. The formulas-as-images, created with nonstandard $latex blah $ syntax are so 2000.

@zaq but doesn't that also depend if they have to pay annual fees to their up-stream supplier? And with this year scheme they can decide to keep the domain after you cancelled it/refused to pay for it any longer and put an ad on it and try to sell it for a better price? With the 20 year scenario they can't do that.

user315433
10:06 PM
Yeah, I get that that's their business decision. But a reason to look elsewhere for stable hosting.

10:53 PM
Happiness is coming!

user315433
> Happiness depends on who you blame

user315433

@zaq It's Shadow Wizard's fault.
