I've long suspected that the definitions "a group of {animal name} is called a {noun}" are generated by picking a random noun from a dictionary.

And haven't seen much evidence to the contrary.

Following this method: a group of celebrities is called a tension.

Let's go and spread awareness of yet another collective noun.

@Werner I'm sure I saw the same thing reported elsewhere, but can't find it now. Possibly deleted after the problem was resolved.

... and "my metas" filter, which covers Hermeneutics, Christianity, Philosophy, Spanish, Ebooks, History, Islam, Astronomy, Space, Lego, Wordpress, Cryptography, DSP, Puzzling, Earth Science and Math Educators.

Hm, MathOverflow and Math.Ed are included, but not Mathematics.

I think I'm going to feed all meta posts into Normal Chatroom, so that I can find at least the snippets of deleted ones. (Unless someone is already doing this elsewhere...)

When a feed posts to a room, does it bump the room to the top of active ones? I hope not.

Jon's room has an active feed of metas, but I don't see it on top of active list, even when the Tavern is quiet.

I'm thinking of putting a "Log of Meta posts" room under chat.meta domain, which seems a logical place for it. Pro: snippets of all meta posts are logged and are searchable. Con: some spam would be logged too (but Meta.SE doesn't get nearly as much spam now as it did before The Notification Debacle). Potential con: if the room is bumped all the time, I won't do it.

For one thing, "faq" looks bad when in lowercase. For another, there is no FAQ, the link meta.stackexchange.com/faq gets redirected to /tour
