@HizHa You can follow Shog's link about how to escalate (What recourse do I have if I believe a moderator has abused his or her privileges) and follow the instructions there, but honestly, the best course of action is usually to let the mod be right (very rarely are mods made to walk back their decisions) and have positive interactions with the rest of the sites.
By having more positive interactions you can demonstrate that you really are a good guy.

@HizHa I think it’s perfectly fine to question whether or not moderators are being abusive or nonconstructive as long as you can actually give examples of abuse. Vague accusations of abuse levied against community volunteers is not going to be terribly well-recieved.

Moderators are civil people—it’s in the job description. They’re willing to have a conversation with you if you think you’ve been unfairly punished or talked down to.
But you are expected to be civil, too, unless you’ve been egregiously harmed in some way, and I find that unlikely.

Interesting read, but I think the section about the ship-builders was a bit long.
Perhaps we should try to remove the chips from our own shoulders and not seek to knock off the chips from other's shoulders.

It was surprisingly pleasant, actually! I was doing something that most abstractions cannot possible handle, and it’s still loads better than using the DOM APIs.
I had to implement some custom scrolling functionality, which involves calculating element heights and shifting things around.
