Not quite, actually... this time StackStatus was Mark Henderson.

Law election has 2 candidates for 3 positions, both pro-tem mods. And I guess the 3rd pro-tem mod isn't that into the site.

@ᴡᴏʀᴅs what a surprise! ;-)

A user posted 11 questions and still doesn't get the question-answer distinction on SO. All five existing answers are NAAs.

Speaking of which, the LQRQ is over 300

Once in a while I think I should review more... but audits like this convince me I'm wrong.

yeah, that's probably the best of a pile of bad answers that guy posted
all spam-deleted, so all eligible for audits

@Shog9 but that one linked by @ᴡᴏʀᴅs appears to be legit. Looks like a single moderator spam vote, maybe he/she were mistaken?

@ShadowWizard probably got a bit lax after deleting all the other answers.
I've corrected this situation.

Edit comment ^ on one of my posts ;)

@Shog9 thanks, but what did you do? Answer still deleted as spam.
@rene huh! So rude.

@ShadowWizard because it's still spam. But now it won't be used as an audit.

@ShadowWizard Meh, fellow Dutch user, they know where I'm coming from :)

@Shog9 sorry, I don't get it. If it's really spam (I might have missed something) why not having it used as an audit?

user315433
6:04 PM
@ShadowWizard Because some posts are seen as spam only in the context of other posts. So they are spam, but one can't expect reviewers to know this.

@ShadowWizard because it's really subtle until you see that the author posted 3 other answers that consist of little or nothing beyond links to his github project. And you can't see those because they're deleted.

user315433
A larger issue is using primarily spam for audits in LQRQ. I take this queue as a way to get rid of NAAs, not to look for spam.

audit criteria are badly in need of some review and standardization, I'm afraid.
When that queue was created, the stuff going into it was just new posts that looked... "sketchy".
More akin to Smoke Detector than flag review.
So spam was an obvious choice, especially considering the almost-daily arguments folks were having over what constituted NAA back then.

user315433
Makes sense. I'll wait for that review and standardization to happen, then.

it's on my list

I need to make a list of lists

That's what Trello is for (lists of lists of lists). One has a list of boards, each a list of "lists", each a list of cards, and a card can have a checklist on it. A list of checklists, actually.

Did you guys know that you can make lists of lists in Python? It's true! :)

Q: Sites soliciting reviews, recommendations, comparisons, collaborations…

Robert Cartaino"Software Recommendations" was created in a time when the sheer size of our software developer audience gave them the collateral to give this a shot. "Hardware Recommendations" later expanded on that idea and it's struggling critically with nearly half the questions either deleted or closed. Sinc...

Not really a bug, IMO. One has to delete that auto-inserted space to break parsing.

@Shog9 hmm... I see. Thanks!
@Shog9 sounds recursive.
@AaronHall can't you make it in any programming language? :)

Here's an example that really makes my point: I'm "tied" for 3rd place when ranked by votes on this answer: stackoverflow.com/a/31439126/541136 - even though the answer I'm tied with is from 2008 and mine is from last year.
Can we determine, objectively, which is the better answer based on that information? I think we can.

Does their regex engine support \s++$, non-backtracking-repeat?

Was the person who posted this the same person who trolled SU two days ago?
Was this a deliberate attack against Stack Exchange?
An algorithmic complexity attack is a form of computer attack that exploits known cases in which an algorithm used in a piece of software will exhibit worst case behavior. This type of attack can be used to achieve a denial-of-service. == Examples == Billion laughs ReDoS Zip bomb == See also == Adversarial input Quicksort - popular and fast in-place sorting algorithm, running O ( n log ⁡ n ) {\displaystyle O(n\log n)} on average, but having O ( n ...

Apparently not with that syntax, but .NET does support nonbacktracking subexpressions.
