@Shog no way to clear the spam there? And how it reached there in the first place? Looks like SE has been hacked as far as I can tell.

The FAQ doesn't address this point. It says the votes never expire (true) but they can disappear otherwise.

@ShadowWizard Looks like Nick is not happy with his weekend being interrupted.

@JonEricson well, I wasn't the first to report, he should blame Jeremy... ;)
But yeah, spending hours of work in weekend is really not trivial. Thanks!

@ShadowWizard He's blaming the data. It's not anyone's fault but the provider's.

@JonEricson guess the one who made the decision to take this provider can be blamed, in theory... though I really can't know how that decision was made.

Me neither.

But anyway fixing it and apologizing is more than enough. :)
Plus, he could have just fixed it (even partially) and post a generic "this was fixed" response - that extra information is a welcome bonus.
@rene I think the spammer means the customer will get a speedy response and support, by professional people.
Like SE.

Well, my ? was there because a bug in chat prevented me posting another sd k
so ? was the best I came up with and has nothing to do with the spam report
You could say I was abusing chat there ...

@rene lol! No bug though, it's anti flood measure.
post same thing and it will be... kind of "merged" with the previous message.
it's to prevent those things:

Yeah, but I hadn't experienced it earlier so I was kind of surprised

bar

@rene well, you never flooded

@ShadowWizard better keep my feet moist but not wet

lol, they even strip unicode spaces when checking, nice!
@rene you got me thinking, might be a bug there after all:

Q: My chat message is deleted if it's identical to a previously deleted message

Paranoid PandaWhen in chat if I type something and then I delete it, and if I then type the exact same thing and send it right after I sent the one that I deleted, it disappears. Why is this so? Is this a bug? Or by design?

oh, wait.. only if deleted. nvm

Do bounty notices support formatting?
Oh, looks like they are... Somehow I thought they don't.
Has there been a request to equip the bounty dialog with a preview?
