@SterlingArcher Well, if it isn't accepted or highly voted, it'll go thru the LQRQ and you're pretty safe. Unless there's a mod there, so you'll have 95% accept rate. With accepted or highly voted answers, it goes straight to the mods, so you'll have 95% declined rate :p

Before you flag a link-only answer, you have to check if the question needs a flag. After that check if you can bring in the content behind the link, if that will fail, flag as link-only.

A code example that happens to use a library is fine, however, but "USE JQUERY IT'S THE BEST" is never an acceptable answer, even if the question is about easy DOM traversal or something.

I think that's exactly the situation Shog described.

For example, someone needs to get all <IMG> elements from an HTML document, using Python. We could tell them how to parse HTML, or tell them how to do it using Beautiful Soup.
