So last night I decided to try an experiment, using SEDE to find low quality answers using some secret sauce, which isn't really relevant to this discussion. So I just checked all the helpfuls, it looks like maybe 35% were deleted by LQP review, 50% were deleted by one mod, and the other 15% by another mod

though some of them were NAA flags; I only NAA flagged the ones I was very, very sure would be helpful.

There is a common trend in questions there: the OP says "my X hurts when I do Y", and nobody knows exactly why.

The question gets a collection of such suggestions Z1,...., Zn. Later, other people come across the question when searching because their X also hurts when they do Y -- probably for a reason other than OP's.

They'll be trying all these answers; if not successful, look at other questions mentioning X and Y, and try answers there. This is why SO has so many page loads relative to visits.
