That question is about Drupal... coincidence, or is the mere word a spam magnet?

@1999 checked a few deleted NAAs, their reviews don't show up

user259867
@Dronehinge I remember you mentioned the background color transition on posts in LQRQ. Did you manage to get rid of it? I'm getting tired of the color.

@1999 Never tried to get rid of it, it just bothered me for some reason that night, hasn't bugged me since
@1999 api.jquery.com/jquery.fx.off if you don't like no animations

user259867
Ooh, nice. We don't need no animations.

12:22 AM
@Dronehinge ohhh, that example is so cool!

user259867
I pick "rude" option on this because "OK wusses" is directed at the users (previous incarnation of this post was deleted).

and just .stop(true,true); if for single element/object animation to stop

@Dronehinge why I must confirm twice? Sounds dangerous...

user259867
Because you want it to stop and to move to end state.

yea just .stop() might work
i've already did 20 reviews in low qual so can't test

user259867
12:29 AM
I did test it with the $.fx.off=true, that was refreshing.

@1999 probably reminds you of 1999

user259867
Since the page is the same (review items are ajax-loaded), just invoking once is enough.

user259867

@1999 Christ. I just looked up the archived copies of my first personal web page, from around 2000. It's worse than I remember. Almost every line of the site was a marquee, in alternating directions for extra effect. The navigation was an image map where you clicked on different parts of my face to go to different pages. And, of course, there was a button to make it your home page.

@SPArchaeologist do u know who the flower girls were?
@SPArchaeologist also the scene where DJ-Pon3 and Lydia (the cello girl?) are racing through the streets, is that a reference to something as well?
@SPArchaeologist I found it funny that they decided to show DJ's eyecolor ^^ I remember some discussion about that
@SPArchaeologist also was the ink-filly a reference to something?

@PraxisAshelin the flowers girls are actually from multiple episodes. The quote "The horror" should come from the book "The Heart of Darkness", while the whole joke is based on the fact that the fist episode the trio appears they went blank after a "terrible" invasion of rabbits.
since then the fandom always depicted them as overdrammatic
the show capitalized on that.

the way they drop is a reference to the fainting goat issue
A myotonic goat, otherwise known as the fainting goat, is a domestic goat whose muscles freeze for roughly 10 seconds when the goat feels panic. Though painless, this generally results in the animal's collapsing on its side. The characteristic is caused by a hereditary genetic disorder called myotonia congenita. When startled, younger goats will stiffen and fall over. Older goats learn to spread their legs or lean against something when startled, and oftentimes they continue to run about in an awkward, stiff-legged shuffle. == Characteristics == Slightly smaller than standard breeds of the goat...

@PraxisAshelin ok, I feared that you meant the Changeling..

@rene so? it's still useless crap hijacking a question...

10:51 AM
@PraxisAshelin it is the same one from the Ponyville Confidential episode.

@ShadowWizard Yeah, I was downvoting it and I wondered if that helped in anyway to get the user in a Q/A ban

@rene answer ban at some point, but on MSE the formula is different, needs much more downvotes to get a ban

10:54 AM
@ShadowWizard looks like a sock trying to figure out how far he can take javascript in snippets. possibly script kiddie

@PraxisAshelin that is pretty a generic scene to be honest. Similar thing are very common in anime and even in some American shows. To be more accurate, you would need something ending the same way (car flipping over some random item in the middle of the street)

@SPArchaeologist oh and what about Bon Bon's secret identity?
@SPArchaeologist speaking of which, dat Gummi thought scene xD what.the.hell ahhaha

@PraxisAshelin most people thinks that is a joke about the fact that Bon Bon had multiple voice actors in the past and IF I recall correctly even managed to have two different voices in the same episode because of an error.
so they gave her multiple identities.

@PraxisAshelin yeah, now that I think of that the sandbox is protected so he had to hijack something else

@durron597 It got an offensive flag. I deleted it.

@UnicornsAreVeryVeryYummy .. if that was a big red button you might have launched some missiles...

@LynnCrumbling I admit I was pretty annoyed by someone saying "I'm too lazy to read a site guidelines article even though it's pretty clear I was wrong to recommend that site" - I tried to keep it civil, though.

@rene but I can't nuke people yet! I ain't no mod!

A: Let's predict the date of the 10th million question on Stack Overflow

NealThe 10 Millionth question will occur on the day in which the 9 Million 9 Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand Nine hundred Ninety Ninth question is asked Do not ask me how I know this. If that does not get me some more Stack Overflow swag, I do not know what will.

Duuh. There is no way I can get it wrong :-)
Unless it happens that the 9,9999,999th question is asked at 11:59:59.99999 on a previous day

The concept of 10Mth question is fuzzy. Suppose it's posted shortly before the daily or weekly script runs... then the number goes under 10M again, and there will be another 10Mth question.

Or, after 9,999,999 question are there, an old question gets undeleted. Then what?

well, we got a paradox in our hands... THIS IS A JOB FOR SCIENCE!

@1999 ;-) That is why my answer makes the most sense. I did not choose a date on the calendar, because that was never asked for :-)
it was just a "Date"
which is relative to the answer.
Time is relative to the question (and the answer) so giving an actual date/time on the calendar will always be wrong ;-) — Neal 9 secs ago

@durron597 Ok - noted; I'll check the FAQ before suggesting it in the future.

@SPArchaeologist ;-P

And yes, it is related.

@LynnCrumbling Thanks

@durron597 Thanks for giving me a heads up on the discussion in the other room.

@LynnCrumbling yw... Code Review and Programmers use Duga to monitor people recommending SO questions to those sites; a really great way to get a lot of attention for a question is to recommend it get posted to one (or both) of those sites! ;)
And so, yeah, many times such a recommendation will spawn a discussion in The Whiteboard or The 2nd Monitor, as happened here.

@UnicornsAreVeryVeryYummy this has nothing to do with Ubuntu, but the BIOS/motherboard stackoverflow.com/q/31370474/792066
