Every time I ask a user to clean up the comments because the question is solved and all information in the comments has been merged into the comments, even if they say "sure" or "ok" no comments get deleted. Then I have to flag the comments as obsolete and wait for a mod to take time out of their busy day to delete them. Why can't users delete their own @#$%ing comments?
