@Mooseman nor were the dinosaurs featherless as the movies like to make them appear, but they still draw that way because "cool". Are you saying that your T-Rex can't be cool because it didn't exist with that green scaly skin but actually probably looked more like an angry, giant chicken?
furthermore, even that would just prove I am right. You said that the ponies don't exist, yet someone felt the urge to draw them and bring them to reality. When they did the same with your pterodactyl they had to actually change it because "no-one would like it if it was covered with feather"....
@SmokeDetector Kindly anyone fix that error, Thanks in advance.

@SPArchaeologist Giant chickens are still cool xD Although most dinosaurs were only the size of sheep...
@SPArchaeologist People didn't have cameras then, unfortunately. So yes, they had to be drawn. :p

> As this runs counter to the widespread and long-held image of dinosaurs as dramatic reptiles, the public has been reluctant to accept this new discovery, especially as the addition of feathers often conjures up the image of a giant chicken.
> Had it been discovered that dinosaurs were in fact covered with 6-inch long razor tipped spikes, people may have accepted this immediately as it conforms to the stereotype of dinosaurs as killing machines. There have even been attempts to claim that the feathers did not exist

You should be getting a blue line under the declarations that do not exist, like this: if we declare the variables globally as per se: the variables become global and ...

@cybermonkey that answer has obvious errors, did you post here so we can all downvote it?

@PeterJ you mean this?

nope :p

What errors? :)
I could've probably got the OP to use ByRef without declaring any global variables, but then I would have to explain how that works, and I don't feel it's something the OP's ready for yet.
@PeterJ maybe the error is that it has no errors

You've changed some data types from double to int for one. Plus if you wanted to give some hints for monetary amounts they probably should all be decimal.

Q: How do I add a vertical scrollbar to a textbox?

cybermonkeyAdapted from this question, my answer no longer applies there anymore so I created a new question for it. The textbox in my program does not have scrollbars or a scrollbar property. I don't know how to add code to it to make it scroll the textbox like normal.

'Not enough research' isn't a reason for downvoting as I self-answered the question from another question where the answer no longer applied.

@cybermonkey "The textbox" what textbox? "in my code" what code? There's almost no info in the question.

Thank you @ProgramFOX. I might have missed some of the newly added features (reading the wiki page now)

@hichris123 and why not the first time?...
Because I commented already?

@hichris123 Look at the question it was derived from, the answer isn't appropriate to that question anymore. I simply made a 'how do I add scrollbars to a textbox?' question and provided the answer from the other question. It's not supposed to refer to a specific problem.
..as stated in the question itself

@cybermonkey import that context from the other question

@Braiam I suppose I could copy & paste the initial question.

4:09 PM
@cybermonkey no, just the relevant parts

@Braiam this is the original:
I am using a theme from the web for my vb.net application and the textbox does not have scrollbars or a scrollbar property. The theme did come with a VScrollBar Control, but I don't know how to add code to it to make it scroll the textbox like normal. Can anyone help me?

It's a Windows Form. (WinForms)
was pretty funny on my original answer, the OP commented saying 'wrong answer, downvoted.', when they didn't even have the priviledges to downvote.

Is it ok to recycle like this to this?

"I am using a theme from the web" an excerpt of this theme? "textbox does not have scrollbars or a scrollbar property" I don't know VB.net, but why it doesn't? limitations of the api?

this revision
@Braiam that was the issue with the original question, and was the reason I moved my answer and created a new question for it

@Pandya yes, it is. The OP (of the question) seems to think that a copy wasn't enough on the internet

@cybermonkey you know what would be cool, if you don't mention the other question at all, and instead put some example code of what you have up to the point where you need the scrollbar

Really both should be...

@hichris123 anyway, stripped from answers too if no comments on it; deleted my answer.

4:15 PM
The first question was actually better than your copy.

@hichris123 the first question is vague and too broad to be correctly answered
I am using a theme', what theme? 'theme did come with a VScrollBar Control' ??
IMHO the comments need to be cleaned since the OP obviously doesn't care about their question anymore.

@hichris123 it's not supposed to be a 'question,; it's supposed to be a simple 'how do I do x?', and an answer from another question where the answer no longer meets the context of the question because OP didn't know how to program.
it's the exact same question the OP originally asked:

@cybermonkey Then your "non-question" isn't suitable for SO. ALL questions must be questions and fit the rules of SO. Canonicals are given some more leeway, but they still must describe a problem adequately enough that one understands the problem.

The Portable Executable (PE) format is a file format for executables, object code, DLLs, FON Font files, and others used in 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows operating systems. The PE format is a data structure that encapsulates the information necessary for the Windows OS loader to manage the wrapped executable code. This includes dynamic library references for linking, API export and import tables, resource management data and thread-local storage (TLS) data. On NT operating systems, the PE format is used for EXE, DLL, SYS (device driver), and other file types. The Extensible Firmware Interface...

In probability theory and statistics, the beta distribution is a family of continuous probability distributions defined on the interval [0, 1] parametrized by two positive shape parameters, denoted by α and β, that appear as exponents of the random variable and control the shape of the distribution. The beta distribution has been applied to model the behavior of random variables limited to intervals of finite length in a wide variety of disciplines. For example, it has been used as a statistical description of allele frequencies in population genetics; time allocation in project management / control...
