Does it work with Gravatar?

Oh man, so many platform slogans for next year.

@pizza It should work with any image link, but for whatever reason, I couldn't get it to work with Gravatar because of weird image links.
It just won't onebox properly.

3:13 AM
@AstroCB What if you do the ! prefix thing that Doorknob mentioned?

@JasonC Oh; I was wondering how he did that.
I kept looking at the image address and it was the same that I was using.

38 mins ago, by Doorknob
@JasonC Pro tip: stick a ! in front of the URL to force onebox an image.

Hooray; step 2: implement mustache type parameter.

3:17 AM
Boom. Now make it take chat room usernames like Cap.

Hey, since when did I grow mustache!?

> I thought you were moderator already. Your are like, the Jon Skeet of Stack Overflow!
Uhh, pretty sure Jon Skeet is the Jon Skeet of Stack Overflow.

Lol... you just got a rare glimpse of the start of a meme's inevitable downhill slide.

Gardening self-evaluation is open; let's go rate Frank's answers as super-excellent.

is there a way to expand all comments at once?

$('.comments-link').click()

3:28 AM
right :)

@JasonC I broke it for a second; try that again.

No sign of nicael since the election started, wonder what has up his sleeve

It should reply to you now, too.

@JasonC It didn't register that as a change to the page since you just said something before that.

Nice.
Oh man, that somethingawful article is pure gold.

Later, we got the 4th elected(?) moderator: nicael

Haven't been active very much at all on SO lately, and I'd be taking up a spot that could go to someone with less rep.

3:41 AM
When comments are made in spite and by multiple members of a chatroom not know for its good behavior they certainly look abusive. I respect constructive criticism and agree that a candidate's history is important, it is not appropriate for a group of users to band together and bash a candidate because of a past disagreement with cherrypicked incidences and vociferous cries of abuse and misbehavior. I am sorry if I made a perceived offense on the Javascript Chatroom many months ago, but repeatedly seeking out trouble with a particular user unprovoked is not ok. – bjb568 5 mins ago
What do you think?

user259867
@bjb568 Where is this supposed to go?

on election comments, already posted

user259867
Election comments < YouTube comments

I don't get why I can't link to them.
Weird.

user259867
Yes, comments under nominations are unlinkable.

user259867
3:43 AM
Spelling it JavaScript might make it more palatable to said room.

user259867
I like the second comment more than the first.

user259867
The first has too many long words, not all of them used correctly.

I SUK AT ENGLISH

@bjb568 They both sound like ...
A non-apology apology is a statement that has the form of an apology but does not express the expected contrition. It is common in both politics and public relations. It most commonly entails the speaker saying that he or she is sorry not for a behavior, statement or misdeed, but rather is sorry only because a person who has been aggrieved is requesting the apology, expressing a grievance, or is threatening some form of retribution or retaliation. An example of a non-apology apology would be saying "I'm sorry that you feel that way" to someone who has been offended by a statement. This apology...

@AndrewT. Do not be concerned about what you see in the Botlings practice room right now.

I really love the great people in room 17 and hope they can help me become a better person.

@AstroCB this is a trap!

I've carefully analyzed both statements, and condensed them into a shorter, more easily-digested format:
> > I'm sorry you got all butt-hurt back when I was TRYING TO MAKE THE SITE GREAT. It may sound harsh, but NONE CAN STAND BEFORE MY RELENTLESS ONSLAUGHT.

@bjb568 I know whom you could ask.

user259867

Un perdón is a noun. Perdone is a 3rd person singular subjunctive or polite 3rd person imperative. Perdona is a 3rd person singular indicative or 2nd person singular familiar imperative.
Those are all present tense, where tense applies.

> The fourth act of creation with which the Creator charged Sotuknang was the creation of life. Sotuknang went to the world that was to first host life and there he created Spider Woman, and he gave her the power to create life. First Spider Woman took some earth and mixed it with saliva to make two beings. Over them she sang the Creation Song, and they came to life. She instructed one of them, Poqanghoya, to go across the earth and solidify it. She instructed the other, Palongawhoya, to send out sound to resonate through the earth, so that the earth vibrated with the energy of the Creator.
> When all this was done, she made human beings, using yellow, red, white, and black earth mixed with her saliva. Singing the Creation Song, she made four men, and then in her own form she made four women. At first they had a soft spot in their foreheads, and although it solidified, it left a space through which they could hear the voice of Sotuknang and their Creator.

@tchrist ok
> The people went down and lived with the ants, who had storerooms of food that they had gathered in the summer, as well as chambers in which the people could live. This went on for quite a while, because after Sotuknang cleansed the world with fire it took a long time for the world to cool off. As the ants' food ran low, the people refused the food, but the ants kept feeding them and only tightened their own belts, which is why ants have such tiny waists today.
Such science.
