@hichris123 something blacklisted??

@bummi It links to answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20140522072652AAMKECI, which links to www.access.recoverytoolbox.com/, which is a known spam site.

Possible SEDE filter: left one answer with a link, was not seen since.

Would not work for SO, but may be doable for DBA or even SU.

@Woodface I think i've already tried that at least twice, returns a lot of rows, but not any TP's I could find
@Woodface ok, yea, only tried on SO

looks like spell caster is used on RPG. :/

@JasonC that doesn't make much sense, since when you turn the right way again it will come back down on you , i think it has something to do with gravity

Maybe if you roll a little first to dump it on the copilot.

I had to put a lot of thought into avoiding the phrase "pounding meat" in that question. I also took care to qualify "when I poke a cow" with "with my finger". It was ripe for innuendo.

@hichris123 The regex muscles?( (grow(th)?|diets?))? is essentially the same as muscles? because the whole complicated group after that is optional. It's a fine spam detector, but not for Biology.

It also misses spam related to mussel growth.

user259867
One possible solution is to simply add biology.se to the excluded sites for that regex array, along with fitness. Another is to move muscles? to its own regex array, with excluded biology and fitness.

Multiple buttons for the same action - a UX solution to the Low Quality posts problem. Manishearth posted on Meta.SE for the first time since last April, not counting a brief answer in November.

(I downvoted, btw) I don't want to categorize stuff, I want to delete it.

@Woodface I wonder why...
;)
@Woodface Those are two different things, and the statement doesn't even make sense; if we categorize stuff better, more might be deleted.

user259867
I don't believe in picking options disconnected from the actions they perform. "Should be Improved" in Triage is an exhibit of how that fails.

... which is a major problem with UX: trying to make something easy for users to figure out, but also transparent.
You can't overlook the former.

@Frank I'm not sure what this is in reference to! Was it cuz I asked for a link? I had asked what the current discussion is about what the dup message should say. You said you thought it was yours. I was looking for a link to that. Is that what you meant?

Q: What's exactly the mechanism for showing "Attention: some of your recent flags have been declined"

nicaelYes, yes, yes, I have seen this answer, but it doesn't seem to be the case for me. I am getting this message when I click flag on Stack Overflow: However, my last declined flag is from feb 28 - a month has passed already. Since that moment I had 32 helpful flags, 5 aged away, and 3 pendin...

Ah thanks, that felt good.
I'm not even actively procrastinating this time. My brain is just shutting down when I try to think of solutions. I've spent most of the day blankly staring at PDFs and spreadsheets.

@JasonC just doze off

Oh. Hey. Actually, that's probably really good advice.

@Sue I had thought you meant something else, so the message is obsolete... :)

I'm going to step back and go take a short walk and think for a bit, maybe it will come to me. Bbl.

Hi @animuson, may I ask you about this: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/223382/…

11:10 PM
Hey, quick question: What if the (21k rep) guy who began deleting his profile, was actually not the user at all, but someone who had his credentials while the original user was on vacation or something? I'm a little surprised no one asked about this.

I don't see how the situation would be any different.

@BlackVegetable they get a mail before hand

Also, for users with a significant # of votes (and this user probably has a good number of votes), the SE staff takes a look at the deletion.

Hey, it looks like I'm running postfix 2.11.0. Wikipedia says there's a 3.0. Maybe that's causing problems?

Q: What to do if my Samsung Galaxy S5 skips from 1:59 to directly 3:00 passing the third hour?

nicaelI have a very strange problem on my Samsung Galaxy S5. It just doesn't want to show correct time, bypassing the third hour (2:00-2:59) and going directly to the fourth one (3:00 - 3:59). I have unchecked all the checkboxes automatically setting my time and set it manually to, for example, 2:03. ...

in very simple terms: The MUA is what the user interacts with (e.g. mailx, mutt, thunderbird). The MTA is what transfers mail between users and between systems (e.g. sendmail, postfix, exim). the MDA is what does the final delivery to a local mailbox (e.g. postfix local, procmail, maildrop).

Q: A moderator declined my migration flag—what are the policies for flagging questions for migration?

Alexis KingA lot of questions get asked on Meta about declined moderator flags. I don't really want to be one of "those people" who asks about every little possible mistake, but I am a little curious about this particular instance. The question in discussion is here: Creating an append function in Racket ...

I wonder if a chat room ask-so-mod would be viable for questions of this sort. EE has such a thing, and Math does too.

Meta.SO usually ends up giving too much exposure to little things.

Q: The "start a bounty" button doesn't look like one

Alexis KingCurrently, the button to "start a bounty" seems to be suffering from Windows 8-syndrome—it looks a bit more like text than an actual button. This issue isn't specific to Meta.SE either—it's a network wide problem with the new-style designs. The old designs had nice little backgrounds arou...

General discussion about codereview.stackexchange.com - Welcom...

@hichris123 I have 1,600 rep there, so I'm sure it'd be on-topic. I'm just not sure that qualifies it for migration.

@AlexisKing ah, okay. I didn't realize that -- mods typically decline a migration flag unless a) the user has a good amount of rep on the site, b) they know it'll be on-topic, or c) the user asked a site mod or chatroom.

user259867
I sometimes wish SE wouldn't include question title in the URL... There are things I click on (to flag or delete) than I really don't want to have in browser history. Especially at work.

@nicael Is this one a dupe, too? D:

Q: Economics.SE's favicon is missing in action

Alexis KingA question from Economics.SE popped up in the "Hot Network Questions" list, and I couldn't help but notice that its icon is a little bit... lacking. Shouldn't there be some letters there or something? Maybe "Ec"? Both the main site and the meta are equally nondescript.

Does my postfix config file really need to be longer than:
myhostname = mail.devdoodle.net
mydomain = devdoodle.net
myorigin = mydomain
inet_interfaces = all
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, $mydomain
local_recipient_maps =
?

yes. fix it!!!

Well, it didn't work before.

@AlexisKing Oh, it's that again. Anyway, admit it, you just want rep. That's why you posted on mSE.

And I looked thru a thing things, and it looked to me like everything else's default value works.

@bjb568 fix it.

How?

@hichris123 Where else should it go? Econ's meta?

I could pay you to fix it!

Q: Halp! The favicon is faceless!

Undo I have a Retina display, and the favicon is faceless, plain, and depressing everywhere I go. Can we please fix this? Easy Repro Steps: Open Chrome (haven't tested it on anything else) Zoom in (command-+ on a Mac) to 200% Go to Arduino.SE Observe the facelessness of the icon.

@bjb568 fix it.
Y'know, I don't think @bjb568 realizes I'm being him for a minute.

@hichris123 I'm really skeptical of posting design bug reports on tiny per-site metas. Econ.SE has a tiny amount of traffic.

@hichris123 wot?

11:55 PM
@bjb568 I'm being you for a minute.
@AlexisKing The team has bug dashboards.

I don't get it.

@hichris123 Oh, you're probably right, then. Meh.

Anyway, I was right @AlexisKing: cdn.sstatic.net/img/favicons-sprite32.png doesn't have the Ec, but cdn.sstatic.net/img/favicons-sprite16.png does
