@Frank I see you're busy. Me too but I have a meta-related question. Will just leave it and come back later. What's the rule about suggesting edits on a beta site's meta? There's a typo in the title of a question on Biology meta. The edit button's inactive. I thought I just didn't have enough rep to edit, but lengthy SE meta threads make it look like it's not allowed anyway.

user259867
@Sue There are no suggested edits on per-site metas. You can point out a typo with a comment.

^^
I can edit on Bio, I think.
Link for the typo?

Sue
12:09 AM
@FamousBlueRaincoat Thanks-that answers that!
@Frank Was already on the way to get it!

user259867
@Sue I don't see a typo.... "teh" is intentional

@Sue which typo did u see?

@Sue the "suggested edits" queue in meta are for tag wikis/excerpts

Sue
@FamousBlueRaincoat Ooops, I read the question a bunch of times-thought it was supposed to be "the".
Guess that's why we're not allowed to suggest edits!

Ok, that's that then!
goes and reads up on LH meta

Sue
12:20 AM
@Braiam Thanks. I've been interested in that too lately, am working on one at GL, where I've been spending most of my time here.

wow that sounds like it will be an awesome wiki.

Sue
@Frank Always the cheerleader-thanks! So is the process that I can just suggest the excerpt and then one of you guys replies, or do I have to have the whole thing written and ready?

@Sue You can do the excerpt and wiki separately if you want.

@Braiam That is strange

Sue
@Braiam Although as a Frank knows, I'm really interested in becoming a meta-girl. I Like to be part of making things work.
Ooops, Frank, not a Frank!
@Frank Cool!

@TravisJ I don't have an answer to your question about LQ questions - you probably asked in the context of SO, where I'm mostly a passer-by.

user259867
Raising it on meta could result in something productive. But for the most part, I think quality != level of sophistication

@Sue tree = Frank anyways, so you are correct ;)

Q: This question is off-topic go and read manual, in the meantime you will be voted down

python starterOk, this is not just a simple question but also my opinion over life hacks, and the same goes for every other stack exchange, but the reason I’m writing this on life hacks is because over here I have seen this phenomenon most often. Like most of people here I came to stack overflow when I had so...

I'll put in a short answer, and see if we can work out whatever his problem is...

It seems he doesn't really understand the basic principle of Stack Exchange: repository of public knowledge. The rest are good side-effects.
Also, the mentioned answer really doesn't feel life-hacky

A: This question is off-topic go and read manual, in the meantime you will be voted down

J. MusserYou ask: how do you think we can change things so our primary concern becomes giving a good answer? I noticed you use the word 'good'. If one of our primary concerns is giving good answers (which, btw, it is), we will need a way to keep up the quality of the answers. If we don't, we'll get ...

It's funny: studies have actually shown that residents of nursing homes are extremely active.. and very promiscuous.

It doesn't counter every wrong point in the question.
But oh well

Also, where is that meta post that said "You should be scared to post a new question on SO (or SE?)". I remembered I've read that, but maybe the argument is not that relevant (comparing the amount of questions on SO vs LH)

@Frank I ranted back. Sorry about that. Couldn't be helped.

@Unihedro no one wants to delete it. If y'all keep on not wanting to delete it, it'll keep on not being deleted. Therefore, if you don't want it deleted, I strongly recommend not wanting to delete it.
(cue bjb wanting to delete it)

@Shog9 If you join the tautology club, you will be a member of the tautology club.

Cue Shog seeing how many times he can use 'deleted' in a single message.

You should join the tautology club because if it reaches 100 members, then 100 people will be in it.

Wrong.

I thought the historical lock means to prevent more voting on the mockito answer? Since "Even though StackOverflow shuns questions that likely raise emotional debates the fact is Mockito has most votes. You can add your vote, too!"

> Doorknob will be deleted in a wasteland. (Without waffles.)

... oh, great, now that's been yanked out of context into the starboard.

... okay, now I gotta ask: how do you delete a doorknob?

A stout hammer works pretty well

At least I'm above "wasteland." Nice to know that @Shog9 ranked me higher than one.

Well, I'm out of votes and close votes. Sorry @Shog9, probably still not doing what you'd like. ;p

Your votes are your own, to do with as you wish

There's just too much stuff. I burn through my votes almost immediately. Then I try to find questions I like, I ignore questions that are mediocre, and I vote to close questions I view as unsalvageable.
I still run out within a few hours.
And to be fair, my close accuracy is pretty good.
