Hi and welcome to Drupal Answers. This type of question cannot be helped. Please visit the Help Center to get more information on how to write good questions. — Wtower 17 mins ago

user259867
Is there a Help Center article on writing good spam?

user259867
How to not be a spammer seems a relatively new addition to Help Center, or maybe I haven't visited it in a while.

morning @uni :)

user259867
A rare encounter with a Drupal native. (He did flag the post eventually) Spam lived for one hour exactly... then again, it may be the only spam post within a few hours.

It's common on weekends, unless the tavern folks who have drupal accounts come online and flag...the spam posts grace the front page of Drupal.

user259867
@AndrewT. Have you tried reducing the First Posts queue on Android?

7:47 AM
morning @Uni
no...it must be good afternoon or evening for you right ?

@uni <3 :D

@Rafflesiaarnoldii I tried, but it became 360 now

^check if you get an empty notification for that in your global inbox, @uni

Oops, /ack'd it too early

Or add the 'Shog and uni' picture in your about me :D

:D

Shog quotes are pretty common in profiles, but Shog art is rare ;)

user259867
8:04 AM
Not sure they are common; SEDE search says I'm the only SO user with "Shog9" in the profile. Shortening to Shog brings up two more results, but false positives.

:)
ok...both are equally rare.

Plagiarism to report? :P

...why remove the 'kthnxbye'? How much bandwidth could that little phrase possibly cost? @InfiniteRecursion — Awal Garg 15 hours ago
^ people hate edits
If two editors ( @hichris and I) removed it, then it's fairly evident that bandwidth isn't the concern in this case. kthnxbye is noise, and therefore it has been edited out. — Infinite Recursion 37 secs ago

I only have 6, I learned 6 is the max I can efficiently troll at one time

I thought of pinging when there was some spam on Drupal, then I saw most taverners don't have Drupal accounts. I was under the illusion that many users in this room flag spam. :/

Morning!

Good, I should trim and nuke my useless accounts too :)

@SecondRikudo there is no appropriate place for "questions" whose only purpose is to attract spam. Please flag. — Jan Dvorak 14 mins ago
^is it spam? Did any of you flag?

I flagged as spam.

Thanks @ProgramFOX ...then I will think about flagging it too
It looks harmless, considering that it has been closed and can't attract spam answers. Looks like an innocent new user, so I downvoted, but won't flag.

@InfiniteRecursion don't know but I flagged :D

bluefeet said spam has harsh penalties; so unless someone is selling designer handbags, we shouldn't flag it.

The -100 rep penalty probably doesn't do anything if you just have 1 rep.

^^

Hmm...then maybe it's just related to me being a kind hearted duck

Is there some secret debugging test page, or some back-end URL or feed where I can view all of my flags at once, instead of in separate pages?

use autopager and preload a bunch of pages

Not that I know of, and /flags doesn't exist

@JanDvorak Found autopagerize.net; kinda cool, doesn't seem to work on the SO pages though.
Anyways I was trying to find a way without an extension because I want to write a script to filter flags by type.

page yourself

Yeah; just at a glance, it looks like I can use XMLHttpRequest to load and parse dom nodes from a url. Before I get too into this, is that the right path?

2:48 PM
will do
also, jQuery.ajax is an option
also, GM_xmlHttpRequest for cross-origin requests

I guess it wouldn't hurt to familiarize myself with jquery.

jQuery is the easier option

1 hour later…
I just flagged something as VLQ on a site where I have 4K rep (and a very high percentage of helpful flags), only to be told that "you don't have permission to use this type of flag." What gives?

Deleted post? Try refreshing

I did notice that it got an upvote in the middle of flagging -- are upvoted posts impervious to VLQ flags?
Post is still there

Or that

@Shokhet positive score posts cannot be vlq flagged

@Sam: hat?

If they should open in a new tab.
(or window, depending on the preferences in your browser)

5:17 PM
Yeah, but when should they open in a new tab?

@InfiniteRecursion Huh?

In chat.

@Sam: You said you will get a hat...no hat yet?

@bjb568 When you think a person may want to visit the link without losing their current task on your page.

Sam
@InfiniteRecursion Oh. Not yet, I'm still looking for something decent ;)

@bjb568 I.e. when you think it would generally be "annoying" if the current page was replaced by the linked page. Like in this chat. Or when, say, viewing online documentation or related links while filling out a form.

@Sam a hat should fit your avatars' personalities

5:20 PM
he doesn't think thru is annoying

@cVplZ I only have one personality. And two clones.

@hichris123 Have you already found an interesting Chromium bug?

@bjb568 If you have a small monitor, the second probably looks better.
For wide monitors, I like the 1st.

It's responsive. I'm talking about width > 1600 CSS px.
@ProgramFOX What breakpoint?

@bjb568 Breakpoint?
