@Doorknob If you have a problem with Math.SE...

user259867
I thought it was a good post... it does contain a question. Yes, the author is upfront about the reason for posting it.

user259867
And the answer by Hurkyl is very nice.

@Doorknob the heck with that title

@Braiam Edit!

user259867
12:22 AM
Out of all the crap titles on that site, this one needs to be edited? Not feeling it.

@CareBear Really, it seems like a forum thread. Discussion, no clear point... which is what chat is for.

@bjb568 I got no idea what he's asking through

user259867
There are hundreds of "calculus question" titles, which are far worse.

I've for now, flagged it as unclear, since there's no problem to solve nor defined objective, apart of sharing admiration for a guy
which is NG
0.13 <= 0.121 // true?

user259867
Okay, I edited to tone down the "this is not a question" aspect.

user259867
12:32 AM
@Braiam Is that a question you wanted to ask? You could post it on Math.SE.

@CareBear actually is software versioning not integrers

user259867

user259867
But in software versioning 10 comes after 95, so who can tell.

nah, I can get by removing the point
btw, it's true

user259867
Surprisingly, @Braiam's flag got one CV in support. Reviewers voted 3:1 to leave open. (I expected a shutout.)

12:38 AM
is very unlikely that 4 users vote at the same time unless someone post it in chat

user259867
This is a review queue on Math. It moves fast.

there were 4 users just now, and there are still 2 review tasks pending, yeah, I totally believe you

If anyone's familiar with the site Quora, I've been very impressed with it. ... looks like the daily be nice to new users question

@Braiam How could it possibly be an int?

15 mins ago, by Care Bear
@Braiam Is that a question you wanted to ask? You could post it on Math.SE.

12:48 AM
Isn't it a decimal? Ints are like, the things without dots.

@bjb568 err... I meant that they aren't normal numbers
so, Math wouldn't help

Eh, everything is 1s and 0s.

Software versioning can be confusing. It depends, whether to indicate it as pure number (0.13 > 0.121) or tokenized (0 = 0 --> 13 < 121)

1:38 AM
actually with version numbers you have to compare the groups of numbers, not the entire version string (0 = 0).(13 < 121)

agree, that's what I meant actually

@AndrewT. isn't that spam through?

Wait, no, that's an utter piece of crap. Calling it very low quality would be a total disgrace to all of the other very low quality questions on MSE.
@InfiniteRecursion re that question in particular, I'd say there's no such canonical

@JanDvorak good, so it's non-answerable in that case

I suggest answering it in a way that makes that question the canonical
