Attitudes like that are holding back the field of programming, its why every new version of software I get runs slower than it did on my old computer. Mind you, we did deploy a few changes to the socket server today, so that could also be it... Would kill the socket while the server cycled back up.

Is this an appropriate place to ask a "why my edit was rejected" question? I disagree with the rejection reason, as it would be dubious to argue that because of my edit, "...the original meaning or intent of the post would be lost." But I was thrice rejected for this reason. I don't get it.
