Is there anything that can be done to flag poor edit reviewers? Somehow this was accepted (stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits/3239641) despite changing the code in the question.

Flag the post @DuncanJones. Use the "other" option and link in the page you have just linked. That should be enough to notify a mod. There's not a more direct way I think.

Any idea whether the moderator interface understands markdown at all? I ended up copy/pasting URLs in verbatim, but it might be more pleasant for the readers if I can hide links behind descriptive text.

I think reviews need to be graduated based on user reputation. 2k users are just not necessarily ready to review things in a 1-of-3 system. There should be a review score needed per review and each vote adds something to the tally. 2k users get a smaller weighted score than higher rep users.

Or am I foolishly thinking reputation has anything to do with review quality?

I.e. am I naive for thinking 5k or 10k+ users are necessarily better at it?

@ThiefMaster I'm sure there are exceptions to every rule. I was just wondering how wide-spread that is. If there is any correlation between reputation and robo-reviewing, it might be worth considering if the system should reflect that.

@DuncanJones I'd have to agree with you there. I rarely find that a 10k+ users robo-reviewing. Neither are a majority of 5k+ for that matter. It's usually the 3k ones..

In the instance you provided above, there was one 5k user who approved it.. the rest were 3k..

Well, I suppose it's difficult to do the stats correctly.

I guess a simple measure is the number of approvals that were overruled, per-capita by each reputation range.

Which isn't really proof of anything, I suppose, but it's better than nothing.

Perhaps I'm a bit "special", but I keep shutting this down absent-mindedly and wondering where it's gone later. I'm not so used to having browser-based chat sessions I guess.

ok, I made a mistake on SO, any ideas on how to resolve?

I created a tag, called [tag:snap.svg], whereas there already existed a similar one [tag:snap-svg]. I thought it makes more sense since, that's the actual name.
I then modified a question and added the snap.svg tag instead of snap-svg.
I thought I would be able to add a synpynm to the original one, but can't (needs a score of 5).

Don't add a synonym for such cases

Just use the appropriate tag

The wrong tag will automatically disappear within 24 hours, if no questions are using it.

Q: How can we get rid of misspelled and unused (or "zombie") tags?

So, what's the correct response to an exact duplicate answer? I've just encountered two answers from the same user that were auto-marked as duplicates. I've decided the questions are duplicates and voted as such. What should I do with the duplicate flag on the answer?

It is a valid flag. But I'm not sure what further action is required, other than perhaps a comment on the answer requesting the answerer doesn't post duplicates again.
