@SPArcheon-onstrike chance? Just saw it in a corner? ;)
@ShadowWizard was looking for something else entirely
Mr. Eye, is that you?
@SPArcheon-onstrike next time use AI, you'll surely get what you look for.
1:55 PM
@ShadowWizard you know those are real right?
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact I see someone doesn't know Doom...
Its called a cacodemon :D
@SPArcheon-onstrike killed so many of those while playing Doom... ah, good old times. :D
@ShadowWizard it was very odd how these were basically rendered helpless by the machine gun weapon.
.... a cultural reference @ShadowWizard gets. And here I am miles away from being able to buy a lottery ticket :D
Other mobs had a "favorite weapon" that gave you some advantage but... these were basically stun locked in place
2:09 PM
@SPArcheon-onstrike hmm think I just blasted them away with the rocket launcher. Wasn't very easy, but more fun.
@JourneymanGeek hmm? What did I get?
what a cacodemon was :D
But how is that "cultural reference"? [status-confused]
;)
I just happened to play Doom a lot, enough to actually remember some monsters from it. :D
XD
good enough
@SPArcheon-onstrike Just saying, looks more like Mr. Eye.
@ShadowWizard Can we ban genAI now?
2:25 PM
Huh, is clearly a beholder afaict
No Doom round here :(
@Mithoron not sure which was first actually. :D
Let me see...
Beholder, by far. Oh well. :D
Yup!
> The beholder is a fictional monster in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. It is depicted as a floating orb of flesh with a large mouth, single central eye, and many smaller eyestalks on top with powerful magical abilities.
Alignment: Lawful Evil
First appearance: Greyhawk (1975)
Though beholders aren't "always evil". There's a nice orange beholder kid in Order of the Stick.
Got to be tough raising a kid who could shoot disintegrate ray at will ;p
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact I will interpret that as a request for a Shizuka from Doraemon
@ShadowWizard beholder is also a trademark, so that is why all the expy aren't called beholder.
@Mithoron Don't worry, MHA showed that is perfectly fine to kill all the villains after realizing you have no idea about how to write them getting saved (and good riddance with Deku old "I want to be an hero that saves everyone" motto)
just pretend they got redemption in death by the hand of the local cleric/priest.
2:38 PM
@SPArcheon-onstrike Yeah it is. On the other hand I dunno what MHA is though
don't worry, these notes are mostly for the random @MetaAndrewT. walking by.
Calling for doomsday upon @Mithoron
@Mithoron bit, yeah. :D
@SPArcheon-onstrike fair, yeah.
Refreshing @SPA’s interpretation skillset
@SPArcheon-onstrike @Meta Andrew, is that Andrew’s subconciousness?
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact But I guessed it's some japanese thing with too big eyes ;>
Yup, I'm not much into manga/anime
2:44 PM
@Mithoron Japanese? Big eyes? Aha! So that’s what Japanese people look like after they get the anime eye surgery.
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact actually, that is how the Japanese culture idealizes western people.
Big eyes in anime is just a byproduct of the fact that traditionally Japanese people used to prefer bigger eyes like the ones they see in western people compared to the "small almond shape" usually attributed to estern aesthetic
3:38 PM
@SPArcheon-onstrike Eyelid surgery is more common than one would think it is, in South Korea. Cosmetic surgery. All to have «European» eyes instead. I don’t understand it.
I mean, sorry to hear your spamming skills aren’t any better.
Also sorry to hear you value your husband’s money more than him.
Nice.
Chrome added a pop up that tells you to "write @gemini" in the url to "chat with gemini".
if you do that you are taken to the gemini site to create an account.
Apparently Google wants to be sued.
Again.
Ew, Google Chrome.

1 hour later…
5:09 PM
@SPArcheon-onstrike they look for ways to spend their extra money.
When you earn like billon every second, you need to be creative.
5:31 PM
@ShadowWizard Hi! How are you? Is Israel better?
@ShadowWizard I don't know, pay tax? Like normal people?
