basically now you have the ps5 going for about 399-450$ on average. Then you have the PS5 pro - which doesn't really address the real bottlenecks in the original model but adds AI frame interpolation (something that is known to cause ghosting in high speed action games... IE the ones you want to improve framerate on).
The launch price for the PRO model is 799. WITHOUT THE BLU RAY DISK READER that you have to buy separatelly and that thanks to [redacted] distribution usually goes around 150/200 $
just worked for painting them even more as clowns since the screens of those comments now fill twitter & reddit...
PS: let me also point out that the "increased internal ssd disk size" is pure idiocy.
one of the good things in the original PS5 model is that it has an easily accessible disk expansion socket
So, you can just stick in any ssd stick module you may even already own and it will work. Installation process is like 5 minute, 10 if you want to also add a 10-20$ additional cooling system
To put this shortly: Disk space has never been an issue on the PS5 and if you wanted more... you could get more quite easily.
now, it is not even clear if they use the same module size on the PS5 Pro, so you can't even know if the module you got for your PS5 can be ported to the PRO model
@Glorfindel RE meta.stackexchange.com/q/254355/377214: it'd be really nice if you closed it as a duplicate of the target I linked there. That question is the same but has better answers.
