@ShadowTheSpringWizard I posted the Zeerust link because that car design was supposed to look futuristic in the 1950s, when people expected we'd all have flying cars by the year 2000.

I don't oftem read TVTropes, but it is fun to browse occasionally. It's quite well-organised, and the quality of info seems to be fairly good.
