What happened to the OP comment background?
Ah, unregistered account shenanigans.

lol why on Earth unregistered users won't have the background???
Because they're not "real"?

"inappropriate cat ears were for a wedding not a funeral" feels like there's appropriate cat ears for a wedding

@JourneymanGeek ummmm what?
Wrong chat?

nope
see the comments on what @Mith linked :D

Random muzings?
oh my you actually read the comments?! lol

8:36 AM
For all my sins
yes

I didn't even think to read it, just saw there's no background.
@JourneymanGeek sins... I'm now going to fight creatures called "Sin Eaters" in my PS4 game. :P

@ShadowWizardChasingStars used to be an actual thing actually
A sin-eater is a person who consumes a ritual meal in order to spiritually take on the sins of a deceased person. The food was believed to absorb the sins of a recently dead person, thus absolving the soul of the person. Sin-eaters, as a consequence, carried the sins of all people whose sins they had eaten; they were usually feared and shunned.Cultural anthropologists and folklorists classify sin-eating as a form of ritual. It is most commonly associated with Wales, English counties bordering Wales and Welsh culture. == Attestations == === History === While there have been analogous instances of...

hah, well the game is from Japan so doubt they knew about it. :D
(this is what I'm going to fight. ;))

@ShadowWizardChasingStars welcome to Shadowbringers!

@MetaAndrewT. whaaa
You also play the game?

8:51 AM
no, I don't play the game, but I watched various YouTuber reactions to that scene

I didn't like the end of Stormblood. :(
@MetaAndrewT. oh, what scene?
But so far Shadowbringers seems good, they made nice twist in the plot.

I dunno how far you are, but it's that traumatic scene...
but yeah, I agree, the plot concept is interesting

@MetaAndrewT. hmm well thought you meant something in the opening or transition scenes between the packs. But I'm just in the beginning so probably didn't reach it yet.

1:31 PM
@ShadowWizardChasingStars ah, well then, enjoy the story :)

Thanks, I am! Love having lots of side quests again, they just end at some point. :(
It's like the toppings on a cake: that's what really tasty. :D

thanks, a bit late in the PM for that ... when I was younger I could easily down 5-6 cups after dinner and still sleep well but, welp, that was long ago

@tripleee so now only two? ;)
@tripleee gone already

@ShadowWizardChasingStars the sad truth is no coffee in the afternoon for me any longer

I have one coffee a day :D
I would give it up but my parents would disown me :D

the other day my wife had made homemade icecream with coffee in it and we were both blinking in the night way past midnight that night

2:30 PM
My folks take coffee seriously

@JourneymanGeek yup, me too now

@tripleee oh no! :(
Tea then?

yuck, warm water with seasoning

@JourneymanGeek why? They make it for you? ;)

@ShadowWizardChasingStars they also take coffee seriously

2:33 PM
@tripleee oh hey careful, @EleezatheOtherWorldWizard might send a Fireball on you, hearing such things! :P

it's cold here so they are really welcome to

@JourneymanGeek as part of some tradition?

@ShadowWizardChasingStars in a manner of speaking

@tripleee lol OK then, so keep saying bad things about the tea she likes so much! :D
!!/tea

@ShadowWizardChasingStars brews a cup of lemon tea for @ShadowWizardChasingStars

2:34 PM
hmm lemon is nice.

lemon without tea would be great though

I don't like tea either

@JourneymanGeek hey isn't it a song?

not a fan of the tannins, though lemon tea is a nice thing
@ShadowWizardChasingStars is it?

@tripleee I'm pretty sure that's soup, not tea :P

a line drawn in water, as they say

@tripleee maybe inside chocolate ;)
Well I'm in the minority group, I like both tea and soup. :D

@Tinkeringbell en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lei_cha is this tea or is this soup? :D

Actually I'm bit sick these days, so getting hot soup from my mother soon. lol

(also, there used to be a place that did great vegan thunder tea rice - grew all the veggies in their own farm, sadly they closed down)

2:39 PM
@JourneymanGeek couldn't make a profit?

@JourneymanGeek I would say soup, though 'gruel' as mentioned on the wiki page might work too :P

@ShadowWizardChasingStars IIRC the farm got closed down cause the government wanted the land for something else.

@JourneymanGeek oh that's pity.
Bad government!
Here they only try to kill democracy in Israel.

._.
It would be very impolite if our government tried to kill democracy in yours

@JourneymanGeek oh, you can try, but that's something that can only be done from the inside.
Sadly, more than 50% of the people here want it, so it's kind of democratic act.

2:45 PM
That's a bit of a downer :/

If majority of people don't want democracy, guess it means democracy is dead anyway. That's why I don't object this change and don't go to riot against it.
@JourneymanGeek yeah, no doubt.
But you know... anything that is destroyed can be later fixed. So not all is lost. ;)

Well usually

@ShadowWizardChasingStars No such command 'defer'.

@Spevacus brews a cup of jasmine tea for @Shadow

Likely just running through the backlog and categorizing shtuff

4:21 PM
yay!
@Spevacus well sure, but they didn't do it for long time, then all of a sudden, spree of activity.
Maybe some big project was completed on SO.

The action item to run through the backlog was, itself, backlogged maybe?

haha yeah
Plus "Eat lunch" and "Close the door when leaving". :P
