that's very much one for their local users/mods to deal with

@ElementsinSpace no. It's useless trolling, deserving red flag of offensive and/or abusive.
Deleted and troll suspended, as it should be.

It was on philosophy.

Trolling ring? That's new.
@ElementsinSpace So?
It's offensive on purpose.

Offensive to who?

@ElementsinSpace bad words used on purpose, without any intention to ask real question.
The trolls are suspended, so it kind of proves this.
It's fine to ask questions like that if they're asked in proper manner, this wasn't proper, not even close to it.

@rene why the MS feedback comment showing it as from "SmokeDetector" and not from the one who gave the comment? e.g. here, the "poof" comment. Bug?
I think it used to show the actual user who gave it, but not sure.

MS showed my name on the comment I left on the other post.

@ElementsinSpace where?

You can see my name and my stupid comment at the bottom, right?

8:59 AM
@ElementsinSpace yeah. Ah, probably because you have user on MS.

You don't have a metasmoke account?

No, never asked for one.
I can login, but can't have account unless someone manually create one. (MS developer)

Oh, well that's probably it then.

@ShadowTheGPTWizard gone

@JNat thanks!
@JourneymanGeek k
script should also move the feedbacks...

I do that if I do a double clean up

And triple?

1:06 PM
I only run two scripts
and the second one is a backup for a manual check through, which I don't really have the patience for at the moment

@PetəíŕdTheLinuxWizard Boo who?
@Shadow Thank you for one hundred.

@ElementsinSpace just checkin' in, busy rn

@PetəíŕdTheLinuxWizard Well, Hi!

spam, spam, spam, humbug.
Searching for a blu-ray player to buy, been reading about modified region free ones (that are even sold on Amazon...).
But in the meantime I discovered geo-locking also exist and it is quite disgusting.

4:39 PM
@SPArcheon It just seems unfair.

@ElementsinSpace cheers!

4:54 PM
@ShadowTheGPTWizard Handled

@V2Blast whoa fast!
Fastest Sheriff in the Tavern
Thanks!

@ElementsinSpace you know about geo-locking? Weird. Up to hearing about it on Sentai Filmwork blu-ray releases I didn't even know some company was so horrible and pathetic to do that.

@SPArcheon Not very much, but I had a DVD once that required fiddling with the DVD player's "region settings" to get it to play. And apparently these settings could only be changed a few times.

@ElementsinSpace Region setting looks at the disk region. For blu ray you have A, B and C

@ElementsinSpace sounds like the ordinary lock though, think @SPA means something else. (Still didn't check)

5:05 PM
Geo Lock is worse, it looks at the country code.

@SPArcheon but how does it know?

So, an USA A-region geo-lock disk won't play on a Japanese A Region player because the country does not match
@ShadowTheGPTWizard Looks at the country setting on the player. Some allow to change them freely, some don't.

Ask ChatGPT how to unlock, easy. ;)

And in some case they are even hardcoded
Apparently PS4 is hardcoded to USA country even if you buy it in EU
I discovered this after noticing multiple sources stated they could play Sentai Filmwork disks (region A) on an EU Ps4 (region B)

5:18 PM
lol at first thought the service name here is trolling but it's real. No idea how people can actually use it while programming and stay serious. :-D

@ShadowTheGPTWizard You looked it up did you? (just to be sure)

5:36 PM
@ElementsinSpace yup. 238 results on SO. ;)
Probably more on android.SE, didn't check there.
