5:58 AM
@Feeds From your text to AI’s onebox

6:41 AM
gsquaretech and rohit negi are still up
there are four separate spam messages by rohit negi 1 2 ...
... 3 4

7:25 AM
@tripleee these seem to be gone

@Luuklag excellent, thanks
wait, I put the wrong link for 4

Well that could also explain

sorry about that, weird copy/paste

@tripleee -6 but no poof

7:42 AM
@tripleee now gone

yay

8:08 AM
@tripleee poofa poof
@tripleee already gone

finally, thanks

Well that wasn't obvious spam when viewed one at a time but having him mass post pretty much makes it spam.
@JNat long time (3+ years) cross network spammer, surprised he wasn't nuked on sites before having NSFW profile details, but hopefully you'll put an end to it. :)
Backlog now 32, I think?

9:12 AM
@JNat one half chewed spammer for the backlog stackexchange.com/users/20968832/acme-infolabs?tab=accounts

9:58 AM
@Journeyman MSE/SU spammer in case you'll get hungry. ;)

I cannot begin to understand the thought processes of "Lets spam on meta"
But yes, I have done to the user as if it was tommorrows homework

@JourneymanGeek what's different from any other site? For the spammers, MSE, SU, SO, and any SE site are just another site, they don't stop and think what the site is about or who's nuking them. :D

@ShadowWizardChasingStars Well - that there's no thought processes is a answer...

(I checked, no edits were made, Smokey simply reporting exact same spam over and over.)

there was a restart around then; I'm guessing it got reported by two separate Smokey instances

10:58 AM
@tripleee oh

11:12 AM

2 hours later…
1:02 PM
hm
We all need more flags :D

1:12 PM
remarkably, migrated from Islam to Travel!
many of the above are gone, the HSM one I posted earlier and Baliar need more flags (pesky returning spammers both)

@tripleee k
@tripleee sadly it looks like not all mods really know/understand what spam is, or that it should be deleted. Since it's common sense, don't think it appears in any mod guide.

@tripleee got a link to the original post on islam?

it got deleted a moment ago, the best I have to offer is the metasmoke archive m.erwaysoftware.com/posts/uid/travel/178996

ah, I'd guess someone twigged on to that it was spam

@JourneymanGeek you use Vivaldi as browser, right? If so can you add guidance here: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/386009/… for me?

1:26 PM
@JourneymanGeek here ya go
Lots of flags.
And he knows them all.
@JourneymanGeek why? To see who migrated?

@ShadowWizardChasingStars so I can tattle to a mod

@JourneymanGeek well here is the revisions page.
heh spam is alive again.
huh? What's the force doing?

@ShadowWizardChasingStars bypassing the rejection (under some circumstances)
several of the Smokey commands have a -force which pushes harder
like you can !!/watch-force something even though it matches some other existing watch expression etc

@rene I think its the same under the hood?

@tripleee oh so like the CSS !important. ;)

1:33 PM
What do you do in console? F12 then?

@ShadowWizardChasingStars roughly counterclockwise Morocco, Congo? Bahrain or Qatar, Vietnam, North Macedonia, Netherlands (or Luxembourg or I think a couple of other similar ones), Switzerland, Norway, Barbados (obscured), ???Tuvalu? (actually Saint Lucia), Gambia? (wrong: Ghana) ...
... (from the bottom again) Lebanon, Ethiopia?, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Pakistan, mmmm Mauretania? (had to cheat: Zimbabwe), (down again) Romania? (could be several others, slightly obscured), Iraq or Egypt, some Caribbean country? (cheated: Grenada)
cheated some more: Zambia, not Congo

the sunburst is north macedonia
AKA FYROM

@JourneymanGeek on Windows, yes.

I'm not seeing any heartbeat

takes 5 minutes or so.

1:41 PM
and the one I thought was Ethiopia seems to be Bolivia actually, though it's hard to see the crest

this ya?

2:05 PM
@JourneymanGeek you would need to click on the network tab, that should show an entry for qa.stackexchange.com and its detail line reveals websocket messages

I don't see any new ones after that

2:31 PM
Ryan Donovan on January 24, 2023
Your ML model and AI-as-a-service apps might open new attack surfaces. Here’s how to mitigate them.

@tripleee hehe nicely done. :D

@JourneymanGeek if you click on that qa.sockets.stackexchange.com you get a tab with messages.

hm
I only see one request
ah!

Are you pong-attacking SE?
@Feeds onebox needs some AI

2:47 PM
@JourneymanGeek So, the websocket is working, also in Vivaldi. No idea why it failed for that particular user then.

@rene I'm partially of a mind that the site's just quiet
@ShadowWizardChasingStars ALL THE TIME

@JourneymanGeek also true, it is not Stack Overflow ;)

4 hours later…
6:52 PM
I find it hilarious that years have flied but the chat design underwent exactly no updates
Is this design like 10 years old already?

the person who built it hasn't worked at the company in ages
err, hadn't,
didn't they return recently

7:14 PM
yeah
for purposes other than chat, sadly, but yeah

It’s literally a time machine, I immediately feel myself a kid again, like, so many things got changed in my life but this one just stuck in the past and gives flashbacks

4 hours later…
11:36 PM
I could R&E or force an edit conflict auto-rejection, but I don't want it to be bumped
