@JNat valid user who at some point turned into cross site spammer, see recently deleted answers. Not sure what to do with such a user, leaving this in your hands. :)

@starball there no option to really "attend", just be here when the event "starts". For me it's late night so usually doing other things, and always when I did join in that time, nobody else was around.

@starball It's a bit of a story. I rejoined this site in Winter Bash 2017, noticed Shadow's name in the chat, and made an off-hand comment that his name reminded me of Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic series of games. He then changed his name to "Shadow the Hedgehog Wizard". As a nod to that, I changed my name to my current one, with the "Anonymous" referring to my previous life as the anonymous editor. The rest is history.

I have heard people say that SE Inc. cares about ad revenue. I want more people to read the Help Center and for SE Inc to want the same thing. If SE Inc. putting ads in the Help Center would make them want to get people to read the Help Center, I would be on board with it.

Thoughts? Teaching? Agreement? Opposition?
Do you think this idea is worth an MSE discussion post?
