dang, the image is huge because I uploaded directly from phone, think it's worth to upload resized image from desktop to save some bandwidth? (profile page is loading the full image)

@ShadowWizardWearingMask I think you are correct!, when I use your avatar for a Google Image Search (URL too long) it's shocking who it compares your image to.

It loads quick enough for me. BTW: 1000x1000 is sufficient.

You can also compress the image, even convert to .JPG, to make it load super fast with no visible loss of quality: tinypng.com pngcrush.com

@JourneymanGeek Okay, last Easter may be a bit too much of a stretch. Apparently, they recommend 34-37 days at maximum. Though... there's two ways to read expiry dates over here: one that says it'll definitely be unsafe to eat after, one that says the product quality will remain at a certain standard for a certain amount of time and can be eaten afterwards without any guarantee of quality.... I'm not sure which one I have now :P

I mean, it's just a scare, like how you sometimes open a door and suddenly there's a person there... Cat'll get over it, I'm sure.

Sure, once or twice won't do permanent harm, but doing that often enough will stress out your cat and they might not trust you - especially if you do it when they're eating.

@ShadowWizardWearingMask You're welcome. It's 25% the size partly because it was reduced 50% in size, the rest was because the .JPG quality was reduced to 75% - but if no one looks with a magnifying glass it will be OK. - I recall making my own not too physically large, but using quite low compression to retain all the finest details; but I have whiskers that need to be shown off. 🐅
