@Magisch hmm?
ah, the voting ring flag?

@CharlieBrumbaugh Ah, I remember my trip to Alaska, where moose were wandering around our lodge. Submitted my photos.
It won't hurt that I've uploaded the images to Wikimedia Commons?

Q: Now you can know if a question really hit the HNQ

ymb1I noticed this new addition. It is now stated in the revision history if a question has made it to the Hot Network Questions, example:

morning?

user302202

Offensive, toxic morning

user302202
But also, March

A: unlocked device vs. unlocked bootloader

user302202
Not detected as toxic, apparently

@MSOGA gone with the wind~

2:36 AM
@Magisch @rene @ShadowWizard she is 8 months old now

3:16 AM
@SonictheWizardWerehog hmm? did I miss MSOGA's comment on that issue?

@Bookends No, just that the last comment is interesting

@SonictheWizardWerehog it will be fine

Lifehack: switch to mobile theme before printing.

Does anyone know how this user is able to make the profile looks the way it does here: stackoverflow.com/users/895245/…?

@Firelord my guess is just shoving a load of stuff into the profile

6:10 AM
@Firelord if it's about the squished About Me due to location... then this bug report

Rob
@Firelord I agree with Bookends, see this alternative view. A lengthy location pushes the left side.
@MSOGA I like how it realistically 3D printed the banana.

6:35 AM
@Bookends I see. Thanks. :)

7:27 AM
@YvetteColomb congrats! :D

The watch arrived this morning
Surprised to see how heavy and expensive it looks. I expected something like a casio

@Magisch nice!
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ who is the real @Sha?
daily ping for @M.A.R. even though he already got one

@Magisch Still waiting for mine... should arrive 'by end of day'

@Tinkeringbell exactly at 23:59 then

7:40 AM
I hope not!

end of day... UTC+14 ._.

Mine should be here on Tuesday.

I wonder what kind of brand this watch is
it doesn't say

Timex by Printex?
I always think about 3D-printing when hearing Printex :/

did they really send us a 80$ watch? :O

7:54 AM

definitely looks cool and all fancy like
never had a good looking watch before

@Magisch I bought one from my first real wages. Together with a necklace, earrings and bracelet. I'm not thinking this one is going to top that (or match any of my jewelry :P) but it is nice to have a watch for more day-to-day use :)

@Tinkeringbell I'm a total utilitarian when it comes to clothes and accessories. Outside of my glasses (which are by far the most expensive thing on me) everything I wear is discount 10€ or less. I buy clothes in bulk and my last 2 watches were discounted casio digital plastic watches.

@Magisch I'll snap a picture of the packaging if I'm not too distracted
I'm building a new PC ;p
Well I will be when I reach home

TIL packaging is more expensive than the content
(wait, I didn't learn that...)

8:06 AM
@Magisch Hmm. I like my more expensive clothing (most of it is bio-cotton). They fit better, are warmer, and last longer than the cheaper stuff I own.

I've had this 7.50€ clearance jacket for 3 years now
thorough abuse of sales at the local clothing retailer. Whenever I find something nice on sale that I can see myself wearing, I buy all of the remaining ones of my size

YAY! End of day is already here :)

@Tinkeringbell at 10.30 am?

hah :D

It is a heavy watch...

9:42 AM
Looks cool right?

I dunno... looks a bit big? I was expecting it to be smaller, I guess. Also... it's cold.

Well it's probably cold because metal holds heat well and you haven't worn it long enough to heat it up with your body temperature yet

I know :P
It is really big compared to my usual watch :P
I need to buy new shirts. This one doesn't fit over the watch.

10:10 AM
11:10 am and I'm out of flags on SO

Oh no! What are you going to do for the rest of the day? :P

Not flagging serial voting on SO

ninjo'd

@Magisch How many flags do you have per day?

@SonictheWizardWerehog I can raise 100 per day

10:15 AM
@Magisch I have 100 daily flags there too; how do you run out so fast?

Not by organic browsing. I have a thing where I flag serial voting found via creative means
Can't say more then that, have been asked not to share the methods by mods

10:56 AM
@Tinkeringbell big watch = good
Looks a bit smaller than my current watch from that picture

@Mithrandir I'm not so sure... I've been wearing it for a while now and it still feels weird and bothersome :/

@Tinkeringbell Doesn't any new watch / jewelry / glasses / etc do that for a bit?

@Mithrandir Yeah, a bit :P I'll see at the end of the day if my opinion has changed ;)

user310756
@Magisch the flags the flags lol

@Magisch waits for you to realize that there are other sites in the network :P

user310756
11:05 AM
also I just spammed litter box with pics of my horses :)

11:33 AM
@YvetteColomb ooh

@Tinkeringbell Have you tried a plastic/digital watch? I didn't like metal watches either, but I found a cheap Casio watch to be just fine.

I posted a picture of what I usually wear. Does that look like plastic?
Then I probably massively overpaid for it.

user310756
@Magisch did you look?

@YvetteColomb yah. neat horses
you're amassing an army!

user310756
yes. An army of horses. To pillage all teh places of grass!! we shall eat the grass!!

11:36 AM
@Tinkeringbell No, what I mean is, if no watch is suitable for you, why not go outside of the "designer" type and opt for functionality instead? I wear a cheap Casio watch that has rubber straps and it doesn't retain heat or coldness.

user310756
Now.. I'm handling your flags man :D Don't interrupt me (that's an invitation to interrupt me @Magisch :D)

@YvetteColomb May I interrupt you? :)

When did I say no watch is suitable for me? I'm wearing that other one daily, if it wasn't suitable I wouldn't do so.

user310756
@SonictheWizardWerehog hmm.. I need to think about it comes back two hours later and says yes :D

@Tinkeringbell This is what happens when it's late at night and you're chatting at 5:30 AM...

11:39 AM
@YvetteColomb Leave some for the others :D

Thankfully my classes are cancelled tomorrow because...a flu epidemic is going around, affecting my professors. Thankfully I insisted on a flu shot earlier this year.

They've been well shared.

something I didn't expect to hear today: "Don't put my cactus in the dishwasher!"

11:44 AM
Speaking of clock: as I said, I prefer digital watches, but I also prefer to have an analog wall clock.
One recent find at my local IKEA was an analog clock with no second hand, but which lights up the seconds instead. One AA battery to power the clock's main hands, plus four to power the light mechanism.

I prefer digital 24-hour clock. No need to think if it is early morning or dusk...

@Bookends When the U.S. mostly uses 12-hour time it's hard to use one of those.

@Mithrandir They also sometimes end up in laundry machines, so yeah... Valid warning :P

12:21 PM
I reeeally didn't think this through xD

12:34 PM
@Shaymin you be silly, you pay the price

@Mithrandir Was I complaining? :D

12:49 PM
@Shaymin Well, you could pay the price and not be complaining
Not mutually exclusive

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ OOOOR I could get Mexico to pay it for me... :p

Q: I see tags that I don't watch

Fizik26Why, sometimes, I can see questions with tags that I don't follow in the home page ? I dislike it and I have always do add new tag in my list of ignored tag. An upgrade of this thing will exist ?

Q: Why can't email notification of new comments be fixed?

David SpectorThere are many questions posted on SE sites by people who, like myself, do not reliably get email notifications every 3 hours for new comments posted for our questions, even though our preferences specify it. Some answers give instructions that do not work. Other answers give workarounds that d...
