Done. Went out while it wasn't raining, but as expected it was heavily raining by the time I was finished and heading back. Damage report: wet glasses, wet shoes. Food kept dry and safe. :P
@JourneymanGeek In German we call that a Römertopf. You have to soak it with water about an hour befor you start cooking with it. I'll check if I can give you a picture.
Nothing seperates us like the language. Especially since neither of us are nativelyenglish speaking, and I live in a primarily anglophone chinese culture :D

Eh. We're doing OK with it. It's the same thing it always was. He puts his head in the sand and pretends nothing is happening, so I have to figure everything out.
Yeah, my husband figured as long as he said "OK, just let me know what you want me to do" that it absolved him of doing any emotional or mental work for the relationship.
It took him a week to ask me how I was feeling about being diagnosed with cancer the second time. He was appalled that I had told people before I knew for sure that it was recurrence.
"It'll be fine. It'll be just like last time," he said, apparently completely forgetting how hellacious last time was, and also not understanding that the second time is way worse.
@ShadowTheBurningWizard I've never raised a kid, but if there's one thing I wished my mom had done differently is... please just let her have the friends she wants, and don't force her to make more/others.
@KitZ.Fox exactly... my son is better at school, but at home when he's doing something not good and told not to do it, he instantly goes into defense mode of saying how bad he is, worthless, nobody loves him, etc.
@Tinkeringbell sure, it's a major thing for us. So far we had issue only with one friend she had, luckily she understood by herself how bad the friend was for her.
