Hi folks—it’s been a while. A question: does anyone have a link to something in the help center or an official and/or highly-upvoted meta answer that advises against tagging questions with technologies mentioned in the question but that the question is not about?

@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog I found that, but it wasn’t as explicit as I was hoping. The closest thing it says is “Don't try to summarize your question using the tags,” but it isn’t as quick and to the point as the edit reject reason is.

@ArtOfCode (cc: @Magisch) I haven't seen anything unusual. The userscript just inserts the link for opening the dialog and causes SE's code to recognize it. Opening and operation of the dialog is entirely in SE's regular code. I'm happy to add something additional, but I haven't seen any issues. I need more info to duplicate the problem. I've intended to add some functionality (post preview, as I'm not happy opening a flag dialog w/o seeing the post), so don't have a problem working on the script.
