@Braiam yes, it is, but I had a project started on VS2015 and needed a lib there but it didn't came with a VS2015 compatible thingy that is why I thought it would be quicker to install cmake for which it had support instead of switching over to a linux dev box. But I'm not at all a C++ (or C) dev so most of my time was and is spend on SO searching how to fix compile and link errors.
