RSolbergI think the community does a great job policing questions/answers, etc. and the community has some good tools available to do this. New motivation to keep earning rep after 10K: looking at /tools?tab=delete and recalling each new 1K brings another vote.
In contrast, I don't find the /close tab nearly as interesting. It somehow doesn't scream "this must be closed or everything will fall apart" at me.

@CrazyIvan Ended up deferred ED, so we'll see what happens.

Considering it's already been edited... is there any guidance on changing Anna --> Adam?
4:24 AM
@CrazyIvan Yeah, so I'll be filling out those. But there's still a shot for my early school, although who knows.
@Catija errrrr
Might be a question for IPS, almost. I never quite worked out the etiquette of that.
I'd say leave it be cause he'd notice and probably suggest what to do ;p
Adam should be able to just do it with a script, no bumping... meta.stackexchange.com/…

I guess if Adam'd wanted to do it, it would have been done already?
Guess so. Perhaps rewriting history isn't in the plan. In which case it's probably best to leave it be... ?
If it makes you feel any better, @Affable, I don't know Anna's real name either. — Shog9 ♦ Oct 28 '13 at 21:12
That answer is now wrong...
That page doesn't exist any more.
Has SO ever actually been written "Stack OverFlow"?
Hey Jeremy :D
4:34 AM
Yeah... :/ The dupe is wrong now, too... but I don't think there's a list any more.
As for the name, it can't be edited in comments anyway, and it appears in plenty of those. So it's not something users can even make a dent in. Although if I was already editing a post, I'd probably change it along with the rest.
Well, it says "In Anna Lear's post"... with a link to the post which says it's by "Adam Lear"... not that it's a big deal since people can change their usernames at any time, so it's not as if it doesn't happen regularly.
So I bumped a couple of posts with that /team stuff, to get rid of OverFlow and to shorten Tim's answer to what is still correct.
I saw. :D

Q: Will CommonMark be adopted for SE?

ratchet freakAn official spec for CommonMark with reference implementation was released recently. Will these specs (with optional additions like MathJax for those sites that already have it) be adopted? There are some places where the implementation deviates, example 371 [link](foo(and(bar))) amongst others...

Chat and Meta becoming ghost towns is not particularly problematic. We have quite a few sites on the network that get very little to no consistent activity on either of those platforms but are still able to successfully run. The major problem here is the lack of community moderation, and a build-up of very low quality content and even spam on the main site. Lack of Meta participation only reinforces the conclusion that the site is lacking the necessary interest to moderate and maintain. — animuson ♦ Dec 4 at 15:44

Heh, found another message from @Ano here: meta.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/55244 /cc @rene @AndrewT. ;)
@Ano blame the new top bar for the delay, the review icon is totally useless, and never showing when there are pending reviews.
So these days I review very rarely, and probably others too. Too bad SE team just ignore this, and when you'll reveal yourself come here and join the Fight For a Better Top Bar! :D
Also, my memory these days isn't so good (I'm old!) so I don't remember who deleted their accounts almost 5 years ago... :/
@ShadowWizard CrazyIvan had a list before, let me find it
Crazy who?
When we don't ping him, better use Normal Human or just Norm. ;)
Or maybe some older and cooler name, e.g. soup or Bookend
Lately he began to choose... not so cool names. :/
But it's all good. ;)

@ShadowWizard It's just you getting old and grumpy.
> I'm a top-50 deleted MSE user who deleted my account in 2013; see if you can identify me before the big reveal!
I posted this in October, the query returned exactly top 50 users. Which strongly suggests Ano reads the Tavern, at least occasionally.
Come to think of it, I deleted some user profiles in 2013... Maybe I am Ano and don't know it, Fight Club-style.

user133440 = hamlin11 / BrianWebster
