SE needs more secret badges.

I bet nicael has found them.

Every now and again, I get a badge whose very existence I had completely forgotten about. I like this.
@hichris123 Naw, nicael hasn't even found his own superpower.

If I got a secret badge I would not have known. But it's unlikely I would have gotten one to start with ...

Even though I've "starred" this room, it doesn't appear in the list of my starred chatrooms. Why?

@NVZ The domain is different.
Nothing you do here you will be able to directly observe from SE chats.

NVZ
@DEAD oh, weird.
it's still stackexchange.com in the url. So why is the "domain" different?

It's chat.meta.SE versus chat.SE.

NVZ
6:23 AM
Yeah, but isn't the domain actually the last part? i.e. the SE.com part?

If it was SOverflow, it's a different domain, I agree.
@Telkitty even cats want a sexchange now? haha

@Telkitty maybe in the near future, we'll experiment with species-change, too.

@James are you on holiday?
@NVZ sub domain also matters
It goes to the same IP and same server, most likely, but different database behind the scenes.
It's not a technical matter, it's just the way SE built the database for chats, as far as I can tell.

Q: Put all Stack Exchange chatrooms together?

The same goes for Meta Stack Overflow, Super User, etcetera. The problem is that for each differen...

Diethyl azodicarboxylate, conventionally abbreviated as DEAD and sometimes as DEADCAT, is an organic compound with the structural formula CH3CH2O2CN=NCO2CH2CH3. Its molecular structure consists of a central azo functional group, RN=NR, flanked by two ethyl ester groups. This orange-red liquid is a valuable reagent but also quite dangerous and explodes upon heating. Therefore, commercial shipment of pure diethyl azodicarboxylate is prohibited in the United States and is carried out either in solution or on polystyrene particles. DEAD is an aza-dienophile and an efficient dehydrogenating agen...

β-Carotene is an organic, strongly colored red-orange pigment abundant in plants and fruits. It is a member of the carotenes, which are terpenoids (isoprenoids), synthesized biochemically from eight isoprene units and thus having 40 carbons. Among the carotenes, β-carotene is distinguished by having beta-rings at both ends of the molecule. β-Carotene is biosynthesized from geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate. β-Carotene is the most common form of carotene in plants. When used as a food coloring, it has the E number E160a. The structure was deduced by Karrer et al. in 1930. In nature, β-carotene is...

Spot checking the [godaddy] questions that were closed and some were meh...
Some don't seem like they should've been closed. Some are in that grey area of semi-on-topic.
I guess that'll happen with any large-tag cleanup...
e.g. .htaccess questions supposedly fit at both SO and SF but a decent number of godaddy questions about htaccess were closed.
Also, no repro -- does "you didn't install X" constitute a simple typo/no repro? I don't think so.
