What site is the Chat Feedback room attached to?

user315433
It doesn't seem to freeze despite inactivity.

Another dev's magic?

user315433
It may be the same setup as Charcoal HQ. (But I don't know how that one is set up, either)

@zaq no parent on that one

user315433
So, parentless rooms never freeze? Cool.

12:06 AM
@Pëkka Hey, it's been a while since you sent it, but I just want to say that I did get your email, I'm terrible at email, and I'll respond soon as I can. :)
@zaq Apparently?

user315433
It's nice of chat devs to look out for orphans, making sure they don't freeze.

It was frozen automatically on Feb, but then how could it become parentless?

Oh my god... I see it now. That room is Batman!

user315433
Yay!

user315433
More deletion for the same price.

Fun fact: the issue with merging in chat is that the code we have there now is crazy bad performance-wise, so we don't want to automatically run it whenever. I have a potential rewrite ready to test, but other stuff keeps coming up that's more important.
Deletions are generally more common than merges, so we can at least make that case better now.
And on that note, I'm out for the night. Have a great $timeofday, Tavern.

@JamesENL Given that this is the last edit I'm not sure the "minor edit" theory holds

sd 3k
@Bart then I'm confused
It's like he submitted an edit twice somehow

7:43 AM
And if I read it correctly, the last edit actually made comes long after the proposed edit. So maybe this larger edit did indeed also fix what the other user fixed, but his proposed edit didn't get invalidated/marked done
It's weird behaviour anyway. It has a pending edit, but apparently I can still edit it as well.

@JamesENL Documentation needs more documentation about how to use it

Lol
At least I'm not going crazy, and it was actually worth reporting on Meta

You going crazy and the Documentation behaviour being strange are not mutually exclusive.

lol
@JamesENL you walked too much while catching Pokemons?

7:59 AM
@ShadowWizard I've been playing Ingress for 2.5 years. I've walked way further doing that
Not quite on Black Trekker (2500kms walked), but I have walked more than 1685kms. Ingress doesn't actually measure all walking and doesn't record if you're moving more than 10ish km/h. It only measures the straight line distance between portals (Pokéstops), so in all likelyhood I've walked further than that.
