@JamesENL Don't worry, I don't think I will play that game when it finally releases here in Ponyville. Unless they do an huge update to the game mechanics, the whole concept seems useless and utterly broken to me.

The game is split between "catch the same monsters again and again to level up without fighting" and "fight a cpu controlled gym leader that uses a pokémon of an actual player".

Will be really fun for new players when after some months all the gyms will be controlled by monsters with thousands of "levels", while you start with 10-30.

Just think of all the fun you will have farming just to experience the other half of the game :P

And even better: until you are able to experience that part of the game, you are cut of from the only source of in game currency. Unless you pay:P

Sorry, I think that I will continue bringing my 3ds along with me instead.

@JamesENL From the little I read about Ingress, you didn't had "levels" but just "resources". If that is true, a new player could contribute in a portal/note/whateverweretheycalled as well as an experienced player. Here, unless you are able to actually beat the other teams Pokémon, you are useless.

Unless you can actually sacrifice your low level pokemon to raise your own team gyms prestige

I know a guy who's not picking a team, and is playing a true neutral player. He's not playing gyms at all

He's playing the game just to catch Pokémon, not battle them

Having said that, I wouldn't bother replacing an ad in an existing image... but if you have tweaks you want to make and try again, there's little harm in that. Worst case, you still don't get the required # of votes, which means the community has really spoken at that point. I'm 99% sure (and they may correct me) that @GraceNote's point in that comment is meant to address ads with +ve scores that are shown on the site, not ads that got 6 upvotes, but are still excluded from rotation.

I copied it from Firefox, using the netscape format and then used it in a curl script. When I did run that script, I got an empty acct cookie (with t=&s=) and my session in firefox was killed as well. So I lost control over it. Maybe because I miss calculated the expiration time
