After the flag handling change, Triage became a great way to boost helpful flag count, if you are under 3K.

? would think most would still get wrongly disputed

Careers read-only test will be happening in a few moments - we’re testing the Denver data center for about 10-15 minutes.

Closeflags are no longer disputed by Triage, except for Looks OK outcome. meta.stackoverflow.com/a/300787

@bluefeet: I'm not a huge fan of pinning accepted answers in the first place. I do enjoy being able to prioritize answers to my own questions (see the Lua example in this answer), but it feels out of step with our goal to become the Wikipedia of long tail questions. It reminds me a bit of how the creator of a subreddit becomes "moderator for life" over it. At the very least, I'd like to see the priority age away over time. — Jon Ericson ♦ 3 hours ago

why is SE giving out the location of its data centre?

So we know where to picket if we have problems with the way they run the site.
(Seriously, though, is it so bad to say 'Denver'? I mean, it's not like they're saying "we're at 404 Main Street; come get us!"...)

Denver is the SE codeword for their undisclosed bunker in Wyoming.

user202362
there are probably more than 1 data centre

Well, there's NYC (exact location known, I think?), Oregon (still exists?), Denver...

Question: Does everyone have to log in when they go to the Data Explorer, even if they're logged in on the SE network?
(I want to know if that's a problem with just me, or with everyone.)

1:46 AM
yes

user259867
@apnorton Its login is separate. And it keeps logging me out all the time.

@NormalHuman "butcher" is less frequently used now for the activity shown; the professionals I've known referred to themselves as "meat cutters" to distinguish their work from that of the slaughterhouse crews.
