While editing this question, I couldn't get [matlab] to show up as the first tag, despite it being much more popular than [wait]. Why did it want to put [wait] first? I ended up removing the (pretty useless) [wait] tag altogether.

Various evaluations are posted on per-site metas, manual and automatic... There should be one on Meta.SE too, not to evaluate the network of course, but the Meta itself. It's a ... fixer-upper, to put it nicely.

@NormalHuman Reading calculus7.org/2015/07/07/… (well done by the way), why can't we just directly measure s_k?
Seems like we have the data, we could just keep a running count of total questions / reported questions that get tp(u)'d
+ manually reported questions
Aaand then why can't we dynamically adjust?

user259867
I guess I meant we don't have the data at present; not that it couldn't be obtained at all. Dynamic adjusting sounds dangerous: formulas can lead to some absurd values of the queue if there is no spam at all, or a lot in a short period of time ... It'd be better to collect the data for a period of time and re-evaluate the queue size.

One issue is, not everything gets tpu'd. Sometimes when there's a wave and stuff is being handled, we just keep flagging.

Community has 21,507 helpful flags on SO, nice record. Although there are probably lots of declined, too.

Since flags are transferred to Community when users get destroyed, SR's Community has some fun flags.

user259867
I imagine most of those are automatically raised, though.

eh nevermind
@NormalHuman The auto-raised ones don't actually show up in -1's flag history
it's weird
SR's has 8/9 flags, all of them are from destroyed users. Not auto flags.

user259867
I guess if they did, the count would be a lot higher... all those automatic LQ flags.

Sounds low for automatic flags, considering all the flags raised on one-line answers.

Q: Improving our navigation, the next iteration

SklivvzIt's been another month for the new navigation team, and today we are releasing a new iteration. With this iteration we've accomplished most of what we set out to do initially: we've provided an easier way of navigating the site, exposing a few hidden features and making it possible to use what ...

@hichris123 I was about to complain that I now also had empty results on the MSO new questions page but seeing that the tagengine gets an update I wouldn't want to disturb MarcGravell with such subtleties ....

@hichris123 Oooh. I got into this iteration. I didn't make it into wave 2

the ones that are already in doesn't have to change stuff right?

Nope

3:36 PM
Hm. I'm still annoyed by the tag being moved into the except.
I think if that's my biggest complaint, it's a great update.
Are the sticky vote controls still a thing? I had them, then lost them a while ago

I think that the thing that I miss the more are "related tags" and that it presumes and instead of or

@Braiam, doesn't changing it to "any" make it OR?

user259867
@Andy They shouldn't be; that posts says "this feature will not be implemented"

I'll try this iteration... and then probably complain that I really don't like it again... and then be annoyed.

user259867
@hichris123 Been there, done that. Twice now

3:44 PM
I've only done it once.
Third time's the charm, @NormalHuman.
