@Braiam Not sure what you mean-don't know your shorthand yet!
This is that thing I was referring to.
It came up on the Google result page of "gardening stack exchange"

@Sue oh. Looks like a forum/chat thing and someone posted a GL link

The website I maintain used Gill Sans... until this appeared.

The problem was DirectWrite identifying Gill Sans as Gill Sans Ultra Bold. For some crazy reason, Gill Sans is Gill Sans MT on Windows... and of course MS wouldn't put that in the same family as Gill Sans Ultra Bold.

According to Wikipedia, yes.

I think they have a bad example. The reason being, if it's private then they own their network. Just like a corporation will still be able to prevent me from watching Netflix at work.
It it was a state school, I'd be interested in seeing the wiggle the schools go through

2:56 AM

I suspect the school arguments will revolve around whether or not they are actually ISPs though or if their network can be privatized.
OR...more bandwidth. But, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one

[ SmokeDetector ] Repeating characters in body: Deleting users and "Server returned referral" by StackExchangeGuy on stackoverflow.com

@Andy I'd say the schools are not ISPs since they're basically just doing QOS internally. They also probably have an actual ISP (say AT&T or someone else).

@hichris123 Eh, not entirely true. The school I went to provided internet service for several towns around it and a couple hospitals. I think that distinction is going to depend on the size of the school.
